Alternatives To Centralized Power
The obvious faults both geologically and in our thinking are showing themselves as powerful forces again. Japans nuclear disaster unfolds in slow motion, much like our economic system, and our food systems, and our dependence on toxic sources of energy.

Renewable Energy is a Reality and not a Vision
Germany gains more energy from solar technology than Japan gains from all its nuclear reactors. Development in this area occurred much faster in the last years than many expected. Ten years ago no one would have believed we could gain 17 percent of our electricity supply from renewable energy. In the US the gigantic oil and nuclear industries dominate funding and research

Fukushima and Capitalism
"Capitalism and its countless horrors seems more credible to us than an alternative. We believe in capital, the deadly promise of endless growth. 4,000 Ton China Missile Frigate Off Libya; Libya hit by fascist USA to stop oil to China

China rescuing its civilians working in Libya as well as showing military frigate off the coast of Libya. Note first graph. Only country in 'red' for oil exports from Africa to China is....Libya. Only larger area of exports to China from Africa is Angola. The US destabilized Sudan and caused a humanitarian crisis to stop it from trading peacefully with China. -- US wants to destroy any nation state that opposes its global samurai government. Obama is worse than Bush, with more military and more wars than Bush. Impeach Obama for causing humanitarian disasters and for offensive warfare on other countries. There were hundreds arrested recently outside the U.S. White House protesting Obama's wars.

Learning From Japan's Nuclear Disaster
As heroic workers and soldiers strive to save stricken Japan from a new horror--radioactive fallout--some truths known for 40 years bear repeating.
An earthquake-and-tsunami zone crowded with 127 million people is an unwise place for 54 reactors. The 1960s design of five Fukushima-I reactors has the smallest safety margin and probably can't contain 90% of meltdowns. The U.S. has 6 identical and 17 very similar plants.
Every currently operating light-water reactor, if deprived of power and cooling water, can melt down. Fukushima had eight-hour battery reserves, but fuel has melted in three reactors. Most U.S. reactors get in trouble after four hours. Some have had shorter blackouts. Much longer ones could happen.

Cruel US confiscates citizen iodide & secretly has "Ex-Rad", drug against lethal radiation

what a tyranny the US has become. Confiscating potassium iodide while keeping this drug Ex-Rad secret. Release both potassium iodide and Ex-Rad now. The "Fukushima 50" deserve it first. They are the volunteer workers at the Japanese nuclear disaster risking their lives on a known suicide mission to stop a full nuclear meltdown--from hitting Japan and hitting the USA. ---- "Reports of radioactive contamination and a potential meltdown at the complex have many Americans wondering how prepared our own government would be in the event something similar occurred here. More specifically, could the the health of residents living near a severely damaged nuclear reactor in the U.S. be ensured? Thanks to the advanced work of the men and women who develop our nation's military medicine, the answer is yes - but only if the government now takes the necessary steps. In what has to be one of the greatest accomplishments in the history of military medicine, the U. S. military has developed a radiation protection drug known as Ex-Rad that can give protection through DNA repair against otherwise lethal dosages of radiation. Ex-Rad, which is administered as an injection or orally, can be given either before or after exposure. While Ex-Rad officials are continuing to work with the FDA, it has successfully cleared two clinical studies showing it is safe."

Just five years ago Japan's "worst case" quake scenario was an 8.6 quake every 500 years!
In 2006, the government predicted that the worst Japanese quake would be an 8.6, which would occur once every 500 years! (The current one was upgraded to 9.0 from 8.9 two days ago). They said that a 72 ft. tsunami would cause 2,700 deaths -- the current tsunami was just half as tall, but will probably be four times as deadly. And nuclear disasters weren't predicted either....

Recolonialization of Africa: The US-NATO Attempted Coup d'Etat in E. Libya is for the oil

"The invasion is on the Pentagon's drawing board. It is slated to be carried out ****irrespective of the demands of the people of Libya including the opponents of the regime, who have voiced their aversion to foreign military intervention in derogation of the nation's sovereignty."**** --- "This is not a non-violent protest movement as in Egypt and Tunisia. Conditions in Libya are fundamentally different. The armed insurgency in Eastern Libya is directly supported by foreign powers." --- "The real objective of "Operation Libya" is not to establish democracy but to take possession of Libya's oil reserves, destabilize the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and eventually privatize the country's oil industry, namely transfer the control and ownership of Libya's oil wealth into foreign hands. The National Oil Corporation (NOC) is ranked 25 among the world's Top 100 Oil Companies. (The Energy Intelligence ranks NOC 25 among the world's Top 100 companies. - Libyaonline.com)" --- "Libya is among the World's largest oil economies with approximately 3.5% of global oil reserves, more than twice those of the US." --- "In Yugoslavia, US-NATO forces triggered a civil war. The objective was to create political and ethnic divisions, which eventually led to the break up of an entire country. This objective was achieved through the covert funding and training of armed paramilitary armies, first in Bosnia (Bosnian Muslim Army, 1991-95) and subsequently in Kosovo (Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), 1998-1999). In both Kosovo and Bosnia, media disinformation (including outright lies and fabrications) were used to support US-EU claims that the Belgrade government had committed atrocities, thereby justifying a military intervention on humanitarian grounds."
