This is the 6 part video set from the 4Pm Chase Protest in Portland Oregon. This is the one where the police ram their horses into the peaceful crowd (again) who were legally protesting, the police shoved the citizens dangerously into the streets. Then the cops sent in hundreds of ROBO dressed Riot cops ... and yelling over loud speakers for next 30 minutes to "get out of the street"? ...So then (next) they start pepperspraying people and hitting them with sticks (and or jabbing protesters with their sticks)and then they do some more MAJOR blocking the street. Then they (hundreds of police) for no reason (?) leave and everything is peaceful and back to normal.

Occupy Oakland calls for the blockade and disruption of the economic apparatus of the 1% with a coordinated shutdown of ports on the entire West Coast on December 12th. The 1% has disrupted the lives of longshoremen and port truckers and the workers who create their wealth, just as coordinated nationwide police attacks have turned our cities into battlegrounds in an effort to disrupt our Occupy movement.
Congress has repeatedly exempted the student loan industry from standard consumer protection laws. The result is a predatory lending system that abuses student loan borrowers and co-signers. Wells Fargo is a major player in the student loan industry, offering both Federally-guaranteed and private student loans.
According to InflationData.com, college tuition has increased 498% in the last 26 years, while overall consumer prices have increased only 115%. So while general prices have only doubled, college tuition is now five times more expensive. The embedded chart presents the same problem with additional data. The student loan industry is not helping students to afford these price increases, because the student loan industry is itself the cause of skyrocketing tuition increases.
Our entire political system from the politicians, the media and and the people who follow it is idiotic. They are wrong about basic facts of reality. They confuse economics with money & finance. The economy is our resource base, production & consumption, while finance is a system of management, and money is it's primary unit of measure. This system is failing to manage the economy and is why we are having financial crises. Alternatively we are at the greatest economic point in the history of human kind. We have access to more resources, more food production, and most advanced technology ever, yet there's not enough money to take care of everyone on the planet. The problem is money.

I have done this before and want to progress this demonstration, - and the reform of our government. (I have done the permits, porta potties and stuff before, but will be looking for someone who lives in Seattle to do this one. It will make more sense to elected officials that a "constituent" Seattle citizen is doing this. I will help pay for things but probably cannot afford to do it all.). Please help distribute this information to interested groups and people. I feel the unions, democratic party, republican party, churches, student groups, and "others" need to be informed this is happening. Please help communicate this meeting and demonstration in Seattle! The class war by the 1% against the Occupy movement is in full throttle. Last night, cops raided OWS at Liberty Plaza without warning, attacking protestors with pepper spray and batons. Two days ago (Nov. 13), facing a similar eviction threat from Mayor Adams, it was Occupy Portland in the crosshairs. Other Occupy camps have been brutally attacked in Oakland, Berkeley, Denver, Chapel Hill, and elsewhere. Even as they dismantle the camps, we are not giving up the fight.
Call the mayor to call off police who are illegally preventing thousands of New Yorkers from re-occupying the park.

Good leaders and clear agendas must, indeed, emerge, but the best things that Portlanders did on Saturday night were that a) they found the courage to turn out in great numbers and b) they refused to be baited into giving critics an excuse to point accusing fingers at the protesters, but not at their predators.
The extended family as a kind of "self-help group" replaces the social state in the backward-oriented utopia of liberal-conservatism. Nothing hurts families more than the "rebuilding" or dismantling of the social state and the marketing of interpersonal relations justified with the keywords "globalization" and "location protection."
Move Your Money Day Protest #2 is a follow up to October 6th's move your money day and will be repeating every month until the job is done and US Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Well's Fargo and the other bank monopolies are bankrupt.
This months Move Your Money Day will be on Friday December 2, 2011 at 4PM at JP Morgan Chase on 39th/Hawthorne to coincide with people first paycheck of the month so we may catch them as they deposit their money.
Tensions remain elevated at Occupy Portland as the police could raid our camp at any time. We are all very tired after having peacefully held off riot cops all night. WE NEED REINFORCEMENTS, of people, food, and winter gear.
