The current Congressional "investigation" into the September 11 attacks are a self-evident fraud and sham, even before they begin. As this article says,

To David Corn and Common Dreams: Your latest missive is surprising for its weakness. It deserves only the briefest of responses because, as an avalanche of information continues to demonstrate, the U.S. government did have foreknowledge of the attacks and there was an orchestrated effort to allow attacks to occur. FBI Special Agent Robert Wright's recent press conference is but another brick in a wall growing sturdier by the day. Time is on my side.

Ever since the New York Post ran that infamous headline, "Bush Knew!" on May 16, 2002, politicians, pundits and the media have been in a feeding frenzy over intelligence information surrounding the Sept 11 attacks.
An article from ZNET written by Michael Albert and Stephen Shalom which attack the questions about 9-11 coming from various "conspiracy theorists." In particular, the ZNET writers attack Mike Ruppert and Jared Israel. These ZNET people essentially adopt the Official American line that 9-11 was due to incompetence, not complicity or conspiracy. To me, what's interesting is the timing of the piece. This article is part of a spate of RECENT pieces coming from the "The Left" which attempt to debunk the "Conspiracy Theories"--despite the fact that Ruppert and Israel published their 9-11 work last year.
