9/11: The flight path of Flight 77 over Washington
Flight 77 estimated flight path over Washington If the pilot of Flight 77 had taken the easy option (a terrorist's aim on a suicide mission is to cause maximum collateral damage) and ploughed the plane into the north side of the Pentagon there would have been massive damage to the building and many human casualties, including the US Secretary of Defense. Instead, he felt compelled to execute a maneuver worthy of a fighter pilot and flew the plane into the western side of the building. This was an amazing feat from a guy who could barely fly a Cessna - obviously he'd thoroughly studied his Arabic flight training manuals on the night before the mission.

Was this simply bad judgement on the behalf of an inspired pilot, good luck on the behalf of the Pentagon, or was the attack contrived for maximum visual effect and minimal destruction?

If the latter is the case then Flight 77 was not flown by terrorists.

What we're seeing is the corporatisation of the last shred of democracy.

Report What I Say . . . Not What I Do!
That the mainstream media has filtered and distorted news about the war cannot be denied. But its promotion of the War prior to preemptive strike, support of the War On Terrorism and the Patriot Act (right down to specially designed logos!), embedded pro-administration reporters, and early war coverage were all of benefit to the Bush administration. Shrub's cadre wasn't complaining when the media was busy wrapping Private Jessica in a flag or photographing the downfall of a Saddam statue or covering the President on the deck of a carrier in a flight suit as he strutted about and declared the end of military action! Unfortunately the good puppy media has made the mistake of peeing on Mr. Bush's trousers.
