I've just had my first experience with someone taken and held without explaintation.
Do you want to be understood? Do you want to get your viewpoint across? Do you want to write clear and convincing articles?
The Times own reporters, in a story on her case, exposes her as a liar and a shill for the Bush war machine. Even her colleagues are dissing her.

Although the effort to procure UFPJ endorsement of direct action was ultimately successful, the democratization of United for Peace and Justice is apparently a more difficult and probably more protracted struggle.
Something does not add up, that there is now a fateful battle between the forces of good and evil in which there can only be one final victory.. Bush's fear-mongering is a false unity threatening the planet, helping weapons firms to profit while social guarantees are dismantled.
Is the rush to quit Iraq a morally irresponsible move? Are we capable of stepping out of the ideological liberal-left box to discuss other viewpoints that may be valid?

Judith Miller should have kept her mouth shut out of shame. The more the situation unfolds, the more it is plain that she was used as a tool, fell into the trap that is all too typical. If she had been anything close to independent, she would have never gone to jail.
