I posted this as a comment, but given that that story is headlined "Beyond Bush," I get the feeling that most people that follow Ruppert's work simply will miss the thread. So, I post this here, in hopes of getting some feedback.
"There are some who feel like that conditions are such that they can attack us there," Bush told reporters at the White House. "My answer is bring them on. We have the force necessary to deal with the situation."
The latest PR stunt to make it look like the FBI is really trying to solve the case, was to drain that pond near Hatfill's home for evidence of sunken lab equipment. As predicted, nothing was found. The media is responding not by reporting that no evidence was found in the pond, but by reminding the world that Dr. Hatfill is a germ warfare expert, and therefore must remain a "person of interest" by all right thinking people.
A news in July 2001 may reveal that FBI knew the coming hijaking.
As voters/surfers/readers take a closer look at Dean, they will discover how similar, in many ways, he and Bush are. It's as though we're headed for a campus-wide election at Yale in the late '60s, with a soundtrack by, say, Neil Young and the Drifters. (Don't forget: John Kerry and Joe Lieberman are '60s-era Yalies, too, and that Dick Cheney was one for two years, before flunking out.)
a good read for july 4...
Here is a very interesting speech by Malcolm X which, in its damning indictment of White Liberals and White Conservatives alike as equal in their evil, is just as relevant to America today as it was over thirty years ago. All of you White Liberals and progressive "activists" read it and squirm. Let's see what new and creative forms of denial and bullshit you can come up with to deny the truth of these comments below.
The anti-anti-sodomy decision was just another sanctimonious display of destroying state sovereignty even further under the illusion of advancing individual rights. Nothing good will come of the decision...
After Dean officially announced his campaign on June 23, some news stories identified him with the left. It's a case of mistaken identity. "He's really a classic Rockefeller Republican -- a fiscal conservative and social liberal," according to University of Vermont political scientist Garrison Nelson.
Some more provocative predictions from Mr. Ruppert.

Ian Masters interviews Nicholas Confessore about the neocon's dream of creating a one party nation, and how this all fits into a bigger picture of shrinking government (except defense and corporate welfare), how Karl Rove and Grover Norquist fit into the picture, etc. Nicholas Confessore is the editor of the Washington Monthly, a highly respected academic journal published by a think-tank with mainstream and conservative board members like Brent Scowcroft. This is not marginal views from the left. These are mainstream views that sharply criticize the total insanity that is the George W. Bush junta.
We are all familiar with those post 9-11 high profile billboards that came out with sentimental themes and the bottom line of "Pass it on."
Prediction-- as we get close to elections, we will find all those themes repeated but instead of Muhummad Ali or people in wheelchairs, we will see George W. Bush... Pass it on.

Interesting thread over at Democratic Underground for those having any curiosity about this. Seems like something nefarious has been found dealing Diebold voting machines, involving as many as 30 states, and going back to 1998. I'm going to forward this to all my contacts and suggest that anyone who knows of Bev Harris and the project with which she has preoccupied herself for several years, should do the same.
This is a follow-up piece the deaths of the cyclist at 39th and SE Belmont. The objective is to focus attention on what I perceive is the real issue of the tragedy which is the failure of civil trusties to effectively execute their duty to protect the safety and welfare of the public and the willing acceptance of that failure by politicians, public and the media. Civil authority failed to protect the public, in full knowledge of a dangerous situation, and there is no public out cry but rather public acceptance. The public and media and politicians would rather see the police harass CM rather than collar a dangerous drunk in violation of court orders. Excusing civil authority from their duty to equally protect the rights of all vehicles on the road and failing to press politicians for equal protection is all the same thing because it places lives in danger. To make this perfectly clear: I believe that the rights of all people should be equally ensured regardless of race, sex, political beliefs, transportation choice or any other unique human characteristic. These recent events and the treatment of the story by the media has diminished and drawn attention away from the central question; how did the civil authority fail to protect the public from a known danger in the community? And, how is it possible that the public should permit pubic trustees to ignore their sworn responsibilities?

At a special party conference of the German Green Party, held June 14-15 in Cottbus, more than 90 percent of the 700 delegates voted for Social Democratic (SPD) Chancellor Gerhard Schröder's so-called "Agenda 2010." In so doing the Greens have unambiguously backed the political course of the chancellor and cleared the way for historically unprecedented cuts in Germany's social welfare system.

Radical queers brought their critique of the corporatization of the gay pride celebration into the parade Sunday afternoon.
Members of gay shame and other radical queers activists choose to protest the Gay Pride parade for substituting queer community building with corporate sponsorship. The pride parade ignores pressing issues facing members of the queer community, such as homelessness. When they joined the parade, the activists' passion for justice contrasted starkly with conservative mayoral candidate Gavin Newsom's contingent behind them. The activists peacefully joined the parade at 7th and Market Streets to carry a banner that read, "Queer mutiny - not consumer unity." About twenty protestors marched on the parade route for less than 5 minutes. The protestors dispersed when the police asked them to return to the sidewalk. Unfortunately, six activists were arrested before they were able to leave. They are being held at 850 Bryant Street and may face felony charges. For more info contact: 510/219.3450

Columnist Daniel Weintraub wasn't very sympathetic to the issues raised by the Mobilization, but was appalled by the police tactics used against protesters. Most importantly, he provides a context for how the police have developed these tactics in recent years, and the philosophy of suppression behind them,a context that is not really understood by the general public.

for all y'all who think the democrats are different, read on:
Read this article concerning Greg Palast's lies about Cynthia McKinney. What Palast is essentially attempting to do is deny the fact that McKinney implied US Government foreknowledge of 9-11--even as he masquerades as someone who is "defending McKinney from media distortions."
In short, Palast is a more sophisticated version of the Gatekeeper Media who is attempting to dismiss any questioning of 9-11--under the cover of adopting the "progressive" position of "defending" Ms. McKinney. The real issue is this: McKinnery doesn't need any "defending" to begin with. What she suggested about American foreknowledge of 9-11 is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of American involvement and sponsorship of 9-11 itself.
