A female cyclist was arrested and lodged at Jackson County Jail on the charges of Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing Governmental Administration, and Interfering with a Police Officer. She is being held on $11,000 bail.

A peaceful feeder march ending on the plaza was marred by arrests of two flag burners. The protesters were exercising their freedom of expression, burning the flag in denouncement of the US invasion and occupation of Iraq.
