In Afghan capital Kabul and in Paktika, 18 coalition soldiers and 4 Taliban have been killed in the latest news on the fighting that is still underway reports Daily Ausaf. According to sources six of the Coalition soldiers, all Americans, were beheaded by the Taliban. In an ambush on the Coalition convoy by Taliban ten coalition soldiers were killed and several vehicles were also destroyed. The Taliban beheaded the American soldiers.

Executive order 13315, which Bush signed on 8/28/03, was published in the Federal Register today 9/3/03. It expands upon executive order 13303, and appears to be an asset grab under the guise of funding the Iraqi reconstruction, placing Iraq's state assets under control of the U.S. Treasury: in effect, the official looting of Iraq. Very convenient for a government which seeks to hand over control of Iraq to UN peacekeepers. This executive order has had zero corporate media coverage as of today.
Contractors are performing "the entire spectrum of military services," says Peter Singer, an analyst at the Brookings Institution in Washington and author of the new book, "Corporate Warriors," about the growth of the privatized military. He says US civilians in conflicts around the world do everything from handling mail services and feeding troops to training foreign troops and devising war games. Most are retired military personnel or former special forces.
Mr. Singer says nearly 10,000 private military contractors are currently working in Iraq, training a new Iraqi military, protecting the Baghdad and Basra airports, and feeding and housing US troops.

The Haavara Agreement was a pact between the Nazis and Zionists regarding Jewish emigration from Germany during the 1930's. It is the only contract between an official Third Reich authority and a Zionist organization. This agreement is considered to have benefited the interests of both parties. Haavara was intended to promote both the emigration of German Jews and the export of German products to Palestine.
