Some claim that Homeland Security attempted to bribe Jones with a grant if he would stop talking about thermate... --- Now, by September 2006, BYU after earlier attempts to stop and change the direction of Dr. Jones research from aluminothemates, slapped him down this week in what can only be called a politial purge. I am skeptical that this came from only BYU, and it was likely was pressured upon them from outside which shows how flimsy BYU "academic freedom" is. It backs up Jones' claims and his main motivation for speaking out, that U.S. democracy is indeed hanging by a thread when right wing state politics can fire professors. This is similar to the ignorant legislator from Wisconsin and his vocal attacks (and then his cowardly retreat from debate challenges) against another member of Scholars for 9-11 Truth, Kevin Barrett at University of Wisconsin-Madison. If there is nothing to hide, why suspend Dr. Jones? He was scheduled to teach two courses this semester, and now its students who suffer as well in this TRULY POLITICAL PURGE.
President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, on the occasion of 911 2006, says US government probably behind (planning and execution) 911 terrorist attacks. The Howard government's decision to boost the Australian army to the highest level since the end of the Vietnam War signifies an unending commitment to US wars of aggression around the world, coupled with an escalation of neo-colonial military interventions by Australian forces throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Prime Minister Howard announced that over the next decade an additional $10 billion will be spent to recruit another 2,600 infantry troops—on top of the 1,500 increase announced last December—bringing the total increase to 20 percent. In addition, another half a billion dollars will go toward almost doubling the Australian Federal Police (AFP) "international deployment group" to 1,200. For the first time, the force will include a heavily-armed, 150-strong riot squad for "emergency responses to law and order issues and stabilisation operations."
American oil companies' negative stance on legislation and funding directed at making our country less oil dependent over the last 30 plus years has netted companies like Standard and Gulf Oil billions of dollars in profits; but has also netted 2,654 American deaths between March of 2003, and September of 2006, who were fighting in Iraq for America's energy future.
