217 prisoners began a hunger strike in central Mexico Friday protesting the conditions of their arrests and their treatment at the hands of local police. Reports have been filtering out from jail of rape, physical and mental abuse experienced by people who were arrested for their involvement in the defenses of Texcoco and Atenco. Meanwhile, five foreigners are facing deportation, about sixty people are missing, independent media makers have been targeted for arrest and one 14 year-old boy is dead.
1,000's clash in resistance to U.S. base expansion. May 6th - The Korean Ministry of National Defense has declared martial law in the village of Daechuri and surrounding areas in its latest attempt to seize the land slated to be property of the United States military. In an attempt to control the escalating chaos that ensued when it sent troops and riot police to evict residents and activists, the MND is conducting door to door searches and arresting people on sight. Road blockades of sand bags and police buses have been placed around the village to prevent anyone from entering or exiting. Even the press, which had prior access, is no longer allowed to document the police activities
PDX OR, filed FEDERAL suit today, 5-5-06, over mothers' legal nonpersonhood
Yes, I did file that suit today over legal nonpersonhood of mothers!!! BUT, along with everything I included in the suit, like stating the fact that uprooting a person from their home, starving them, denying them free speech and freedom of assembly, etc., are actually ACTS OF WAR............they dismissed the whole thing as "frivolous" !!!!!!!!!! "frivolous" !!!!!!!!!! I declared the 10th Amendment right off the bat, where it says that We, The People, have the power to call the shots...
Cities in US and Mexico Mobilize to Support the popular fight of San Salvador Atenco, where at least 2000 riot-clad armed federal policemen raided the town Thursday with tear gas and bullets
1. ex-CIA officer questions Rumsfeld in Atlanta on his lies of going to war with Iraq, Rumsfeld tries to have him removed, fails 2. Cheney massively booed at baseball park, despite "PR-symbolism protection" of attempting to shield and associate himself with injured vets, fails to work, huge boos 3. Bush lampooned 30 min. straight in DC Dinner; Bush frozen in place, through turning red like a volcano, looks like he came unhinged, kid's temper tantrum 4. Bolton as well, pounced on at the U.N. when he wants to pre-emptively invade Iran as well: "...you violated the UN charter [on no preemptive war] when you went to war against [UN member] Iraq and you constantly lied to us about the reasons we went to war...[this is a pre-emptive war for Israel, and is connected...]...in 1996 with the Project of New American Century and, you know, why do you have credibility other than you just got the bigger guns?"
Bush's passion for "exporting democracy" doesn't apply where U.S. corporations think there's money to be made in a repressive dictatorship.

Barbara Boxer! Not you too!!! arrrrrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
amazing.
Just when you thought the idiot President (Americans please note) couldn't top his previous efforts at pure imbecility, he does it again! Bush, responding to the verdict handed down to small fry terrorist, Moussaoui, stated that, "Moussaoui got a life sentence, that means he will spend the rest of his life in jail." [Doh!] Would the real leaders of the United States please show your faces because hiding behind this cretin is becoming tedious. We would all like to know who really is determining the course of the nation since the Zionists, Wolfowitz and Perle, have jumped ship. [Remember their (now failed) plan to safeguard Israel by duping the US into invading Iraq and eliminating Saddam after the missile attacks on Tel Aviv). Israel now faces a more horrendous nightmare as a direct result of the failures in Iraq. 'O, what tangled webs'!]
At one point I thought it was great. Now I realize it's often a sick place for government, military, rightwing and corporate shills to control a high-google-ranking message. Pages which are not high-profile are still good things because they don't need to be 'monitored' and 'protect' the official version of events - put out by the Bush Administration!
The decision by Google to remove my top position was politically motivated by the Bush regime.
The EZLN declared a red alert today, and called for civil disobedience in response to government repression in the town of San SAlvador Atenco near Mexico City (D.F.). More info at chiapas.indymedia.org and

In "1984,", George Orwell warned that war would become a domestic necessity to veil economic contra-dicions. Inequality may promote productivity but also undermines public spirit and social cohesion.
evo morales' choice to serve interests of his people ahead of those of us now makes him a us target.
Its not often we have Christopher to thank, but we do this time. He has helped clarify President Admadinejad's recent misquotation by the western press to be clarified.
This was my response to the expert. In a lot of ways I agree with his basic premise. However, I have very strong opinions that differ from what he is saying.

Graham also said the budget "totally eviscerates our Kyoto responsibilities."
The Conservative government has said it will drop Canada's Kyoto programs in favour of "made in Canada" solutions to lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
"If the non-native rioters come here and it gets out of hand, the OPP will declare they can't handle it. Then the army will be brought in". Based on past experience we suspect that even putting this flyer out is supposed to create a panic. We've seen it all before. The same thing happened in the Mohawk Oka Crisis of 1990."
"Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a controversial technology that uses tiny microchips to track items from a distance. These RFID microchips have earned the nickname "spychips" because each contains a unique identification number, like a Social Security number for things, that can be read silently and invisibly by radio waves. Over 40 of the world's leading privacy and civil liberties organizations have called for a moratorium on chipping individual consumer items because the technology can be used to track people without their knowledge or consent." Bennetton's RFID was nipped in the bud in 2003 with a huge consumer backlash. Now, companies like Levis Strauss keep mum about the U.S. test location in order to prevent such a consumer backlash, effectively lying to their consumers about adulteration of their clothing with RFID. Clothing retailer Benetton was hit hard by a consumer boycott led by Albrecht in 2003 when the company announced plans to embed RFID tags in its Sisley line of women's clothing. The resulting consumer outcry forced the company to retreat from its plans and disclaim its intentions. The same can happen to Levi Strauss doubly so, because it is attempting to do this against the wide consumer opposition to being tracked, much less having it secretly introduced by Levi Strauss!

In the following article, you can see how Dr. Sahib Mustaqim Bleher, a brave Muslim pilot,
discredits the official fairy tale about Flight 93. A possible motive for the whole Flight 93 episode was to add a "human element" to the false flag operation, in order to make it more convincing (the "expert crack team" of "hijackers" somehow didn't crash "Flight 93" in to whatever target the fairy tale could have designated for it).

May Day is a response to the crisis of traditional union representation. The loss in influence and fighting strength of the unions has its cause in the changed working conditions in so-called post-Fordism. The eight-hour day is increasingly replaced.
This is no accident. I have been monitoring the air and ether waves and about 11:00 am someone began interrupting flow of information by cable, internet, phone and radio. So far the TV stations hare the only ones that have been spared but they are so blatantly anti-immigrant that its logical they stay untouched - from the point of view of the fugitivves from hell gang!
No greater tragedy has beset the Australian nation than at the present time. Everything that is un-Australian masquerades as the leader of the nation; is it necessary to name John Howard as the personification of everything that is un-Australian? A cowardly, cringing, lying, weevil does not an Australian make! Howard is the most grotesque, obnoxious flea that has ever inhabited political office. A perfect coward and pathological liar has won the last two elections by default. The local population desperately sought a viable opposition but found NONE; a high school student could have beaten Howard but not the present opposition; no greater congregation of self-centred, self-destructive, inept fools has ever sullied the floor of parliament.
'When the sixteen-year-old seamstress
came before the magistrate in Czernowitz, she was invited to show why she had distributed tracts in which call was made for revolution, which brings imprisonment. As reply, she stood up and sang the Internationale. When the magistrate shook his head. she shouted: ''Stand up! This is the Internationale!''.'

Zarqawi, alleged "mastermind" behind Iraq insurgency, is uncovered to be a U.S. military Psyop fiction.
Iran receives the most secondary DU dust from DU weapons used in Afghanistan and Iraq. Public health effects are measurable. DU dust has contaminated the world atmosphere. Fallout from a nuclear attack against Iran could be used to coverup the public health effects occuring from DU. A nuclear "bunker buster" attack against Iran could be prompted by an attempt to coverup DU.
Scott Ritter mentioned that war with Iran already underway at UCLA yesterday:

We are seduced by the prosperity culture to which everything must be sacrificed. In this way, the life of others and the monsstrous suffering of the planet are played down.. Liberation starts from the victims of the empire.
The word "progress" has gotten a very bad rap in many circles in our times. At the same time, the notion of asserting some kind of political or moral rights for others in widening circles -- including other species, and even the Earth itself -- hsa gained some currency. Is there a positive vision of progress that people could agree on? And can these ideas be reconciled?
A primer on the how, why, and consequences of invading Iran.
good video,
I am going to warn you right now: this photo essay is truly frightening and disturbing. If you are a human being with any kind of normal human feelings and conscience, these pictures are going to break your heart. This is how Afghanis see the "liberation" of their country from the ground: in the genetically mutillated and mutated bodies of their babies, courtesy of our depleted uranium.
And please be aware, this is not only affecting the Afghanis: it's affecting our troops and their families. Service people are coming home to die, their children are being born deformed, yet the Administration claims it's not happening.
A demonstration called by a broad alliance of anti-racist organisations has been called in Paris today, assembling at the Place de la République at 2 p.m.
The French government has launched a major racist offensive against immigrants. Despite the tenacity and extent of the protest movement against the First Job Contract (CPE—giving employers the right to fire young workers at will), which continued throughout February, March and much of April and witnessed days of action bringing up to 3 million university and high school students and workers onto the streets, the government is continuing its programme of reactionary legislation with the Immigration Bill. This bill, which will greatly increase the social and job insecurity of immigrants, is to be put before parliament May 2, without any disruption in its parliamentary schedule. The Immigration Bill, proposed by Sarkozy, sets out to further criminalise immigrants by favouring what he calls "selective immigration" as opposed to the current "endured immigration." The automatic granting of residence rights to immigrants who have lived in France for 10 years will be suppressed. The right of family members to join their families legally residing in France will be drastically curtailed. Families will have to prove that they can adequately provide for their loved ones, who will have to pass a test of being suitable for "republican integration into French society," a formula open to arbitrary interpretation by state bureaucrats. French people marrying non-EU nationals will no longer confer the right of residence on their spouses, who will have to return to their country of origin to obtain a long-stay visa having proved the validity of the marriage to the satisfaction of the French authorities. This costly requirement will often also be dangerous due to the political situation in many countries.
