NEW PROOF: 9/11 Firefighters Were Told HOURS in advance that WTC Bldg 7 Would Collapse
Recently released transcripts of interviews with firefighters after 9/11 reveal that they were Told SEVERAL HOURS in advance that WTC Bldg #7 would collapse even though fire had never felled such a building before-This was the 3rd building that collapsed on 9/11 after the twin towers that few people know about & it is further evidence that the buildings must have been demolished with explosives, meaning that 9/11 was an inside job, not the work of alleged arab hijackers.

In fact, they established a "collapse zone" in advance 5 blocks long and waited around for WTC#7 to fall. How could anyone have known Building #7 would fall when no similar type building had ever collapsed due to fire before? It must have been a controlled, deliberate demolition, something which takes time to prepare, and having no relationship with any alleged arab hijackers.

First 2 days of action against the WTO in Hong Kong
Some really excellent coverage is coming out of hong kong by independent journalists and activists. As many predicted the WTO will likely fail once again due to pressure exerted by activists on the ministerial. There are some truly excellent first-hand reports being written by people engaged in the events. Here are a few that I enjoyed.

WOT - (NYT) Chinese government attempts to censor internet news of Dongzhou massace
As described by the New York Times article (below) the
corrupt, revisionist (ie: fake marxist) government of China
is attempting to censor all news of last week's massacre
of 20 or more farmers in Dongzhou, in southern China.

This attempt to suppress news of this massacre may (or may not)
be successful in the short run. But, in the long run, these
kinds of attempts to suppress the news are doomed to failure.
This story is of great significance to activists today who
want to build a powerful and militant mass movement for a world
that is not ruled by imperialism and the bourgeoisie.

History of the "no planes on 9/11" hoaxes
cloud from the crash of Flight 93 "Perhaps the most intriguing claim from those who cling to the "no plane" claim is the fact that the Pentagon is hiding footage from the video surveillance cameras that filmed the event constitutes evidence that something other than Flight 77 hit the building. This suppression of evidence shows foreknowledge (since FBI agents who seized the film were immediately able to grab the videos), but not "no plane." Hotel workers who watched "their" video before it was seized saw the plane. And the hundreds of commuters and other bystanders who were in the area also saw the plane. The video is probably being withheld in a form of "reverse psychology" to get the skeptics to think the Pentagon is hiding something when they are not, which is needed to keep this hoax alive. Some 9/11 activists who disbelieve the "no plane" stuff think the Pentagon is planning to release "newly discovered" video of the plane hitting the building to discredit 9/11 truth, but it is more likely that they are enjoying the spectacle of the activists discrediting themselves and 9/11 complicity in general. More important, they understand that if the "no plane" claims are extinguished, most of those focused on the "Pentagate" will shift their attention toward real evidence of complicity that the "no plane" stuff distracts from."

In militaristic societies, abuse of children is institutionalized. Child abuse, in its various guises, is the means for "breaking" members of society to the rule of authority. Basically, it turns out to be hard to get happy people, the result of happy childhoods, to gratuitously kill on command.

years over 150 events: concerts, art exhibitions, projections & movie
nights, performance, festivals, etc. also for next year already we
have planned many workshops, conferences, concerts and others. If
city will evict us, and there is huge chance for this to happen, one
of the few alternative places in the region will disappear and will
leave us with no place to host all these events. Because we have
strong promises that we will never get a second place from the city.

Also we know that the only thing that will make the city change their
mind is three things:
- International protests at Romanian embassies and consulates
- Strong international and national response through email/fax/phone
- The scandal goes to the media

Only Millionaire-Fence Straddlers Need Apply
At a recent meeting of House Republicans, members ruminating on the disastrous state of their party reportedly murmured with gloomy jocularity about the administration of "President Hastert". A CounterPuncher familiar with the proceedings reports "they were only half joking".

Yet, as they contemplate political ruin in next year's election, these Republicans can take solace in the fact that, if defeated, their replacements may not differ in any meaningful way on important issues of the day. That at least is the hope and dream of Democratic apparatchik Rahm Emmanuel and the corporate toadies he represents. Ominously, Emmanuel, a relict of the Clinton White House, heads the Democratic National Campaign Committee.

As such, he decides which candidates for the House should get money and other support from the national party. At a time when any fool can see that the public hates the war more this month than last, and will hate it even more next month and the month after that, Emmanuel is doing his best to recruit candidates, preferably rich ones, guaranteed to eschew vocal opposition to the war.

European governments make their peace with Washington on abductions, torture
European ministers have signalled an end to any pretence of opposing America's practice of rendition, which involves shipping detainees abroad to be tortured—using European airports and even CIA bases located in eastern Europe.

Following a formal dinner in Brussels on December 7, in advance of the next day's meeting of NATO foreign ministers, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium all proclaimed themselves satisfied with reassurances by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that the US abides by the Geneva Convention in its treatment of prisoners.

Bush, Rice defend US abductions, torture, secret prisons
The Bush administration faced a new barrage of questions and criticism Tuesday over the US policy of kidnapping and torturing suspects in the so-called "war on terror." One victim of the illegal US practice of "rendition" filed suit against the US government in a Washington-area federal court, while Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice faced mounting political controversy in the course of her European trip.

President Bush was compelled to make his own pro forma disavowal of torture, as reporters shouted questions during a brief press appearance with the head of the World Health Organization, visiting Washington for a discussion of the dangers of worldwide spread of avian flu. Reciting the same lines spoken by Rice before she left Washington Monday, Bush said, "We do not render to countries that torture. That has been our policy, and that policy will remain the same."

Venezuelan vote boycott: Washington paves road to intervene 07.12.2005 17:12
By Bill Van Auken
With predictable brazenness, the US State Department on Monday questioned, on grounds of a low turnout, the legitimacy of Sunday's legislative elections in Venezuela. But, as the US government is well aware, the low vote total was caused in large part by a boycott and sabotage campaign mounted by right-wing opposition parties that Washington supports, both politically and financially.

State Department spokesman Adam Ereli, noting that "the abstention rate was very high," declared, "given that rate of abstention, plus expressions of concern by prominent Venezuelans, we would see that this reflects a broad lack of confidence in the impartiality and transparency of the electoral process."

It appears some Senate Republicans are suspiciously reluctant to investigate this 21st century war. They would relinquish any oversight role, -reviewing the commitment of money, resources and lives, to a foreign entanglement of highly dubious merit, justness, legality and beyond the determination of 'correctness', Illegality- because we are talking about right and wrong , Good OR Bad HERE....Morality.

I believe seperation of powers, checks & balances assign this OverSight function to the Senate, so they become duty-bound by their oath of office to proceed, to simply respect, carry out and honor the law. Besides are they not 'elected' public servants?... and right now almost 2/3rds of America believe the country was misled, deceived, manipulated and spooked with a calculated slick PR campaign to embroil the US into death and destruction, a fiasco and a wrong, the public wants no part of. We say this government is not serving or respecting the People's wishes, and CALLS to demand and an about-face correction should begin to be set in motion !...forthrightly.

*arguments, actions, 'positions' a result and concern for narrow self or factional interests? OR a responsibilty to act out of a need to be concerned for the broad National Interest, what is just? and best for the 'whole' ?
