But, in his typical obfuscating style he never bothered to discuss the wealth of the various countries involved. That is, the US has the largest economy in the world, and is the wealthiest country in the world. And the question that should be asked is who is more generous, those that have a lot and give a little of what they have or those that have a little and give a lot of what they have. Here then is the aid given by the countries Limbaugh rails against ordered by aid as a percentage of GDP. As you will see, the US is not the least generous, but far from the most.

If these governments with veto power and special privledges in the UN - the US, the EU, Japan - cannot warn others of impending disasters which they monitor worldwide, they cannot be trusted to warn their own people in times of disaster. They should be dismantled immediately and heads should roll.

Based on the analysis of the time sequence in which these Governments received information and failed or decided not to act is alarming. --- Indian Military, for example, clearly got the information two hours before the Tsunami hit the India's mainland. An Indian Air Force base was wiped out in Andaman Nicobar island near Sumatra [how convenient, assures U.S. is the "first eco-terrorism responder"]. . .India is notified of loss of its military base TWO HOURS BEFORE tsunami hit mainland India. However, though Indian Military tried to inform the civilian pro-Bush government of India, it did nothing with this two-hour foreknowledge and instead simply waited for the tsunami to stike India without issuing any warnings to its citizens. Thus, many Indians are killed INTENTIONALLY due to purposeful criminal negligence. --- How do you justify that all six Governments failed separately in their own domain one by one. --- The most amazing thing is that United States Geological Survey and Ocean Monitoring agencies came to know about the Tsunhe Tsunami and earthquake but decided not to do anything. --- The whole world decided to fail to do anything together, at the same time. --- In Thailand, some in the Government said they decided not to act because it would just scare people. Really? Are we not supposed to get scared of scary things? U.S. SECRETARY OF DEFENSE, WILLIAM COHEN SAID, ON AN "ECO-TYPE OF TERRORISM": "Others [terrorists] are engaging even in an eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves... So there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations... Thanks once again for all the letters of support and encouragement. I think about you all quite frequently. This is just a short communique to address the concern or should I say rather the assumption that many of you have expressed that I must be finding it very difficult to be happy given the horrifying political climate of my surroundings. Let me please begin by assuring you that I am doing quite well. If I am depressed at all it is because I have to leave this land in less than 12 days.
Yes, the occupation fills me with a heart-wrenching guttural rage that makes my face twist up involuntarily if I think about it too much. Yes, sometimes I feel like an angst-ridden adolescent, crushed under the weight of the helplessness that I feel towards this madness, this sadistic arbitrary cruelty that I am powerless to stop, wanting to scream until I am hoarse and skin is stained red with hot tears, wanting beat my fists against the wall until they bleed. Yep, the occupation sucks, and it gives you sick, drowning feeling if you let it, but so does everything, if you let it, because I have known that feeling for years. Certainly, I find the political climate inside the United States no less horrifying, and no less aggravating. My palms have known the crescent-shaped fingernail imprints of exasperation for a long time, but you just can't walk around that way forever. The Palestinians don't(and certainly the soldiers don't, they let their tasteless Israeli techno ring loud and clear from every mountainside). You still have to live life.
That bastion of right thinking and reason, the NY Times, has an article making light of all the wacky myths and conspiracy theories about what caused the Tsunami. So for all you believers in HAARP, listen to the New York Times and give up your silly little conspiracy theories. Next thing you know, you will be asserting that 9-11 was actually committed by the American Government. ;)

You don't mind if I call you George do you? When you sent me a letter offering your condolences on the death of my son, Spc. Casey Austin Sheehan, in the illegal and unjust war on Iraq, you called me Cindy, so I naturally assume we are on a first name basis.
Tre Arrow, an environmentalist, refugee and political prisoner, has been incarcerated in Canada for over nine months. He's awaiting an extradition hearing which would see him returned to his native country, the United States. While incarcerated, Mr. Arrow's case has gained international attention. The United States Government is seeking Mr. Arrow's extradition in connection with the destruction of logging equipment in Oregon, 2001.
This case is highly political, and Mr. Arrow is repeatedly and constantly referred to in the corporate media as an 'Eco-Terrorist'. Although Judge James Redden, in his ruling on the 2001 arson case against Jacob Sherman, stated that "The term 'terrorist' is not to be used in reference to this case or the defendants," the FBI and the Corporate Media continue to sell news by branding Mr. Arrow as an Eco-Terrorist.
