America Only Bombs Countries It *Knows* Do Not Have WMD
American officials said they *thought* there were nuclear weapons being made in Iraq by Saddam, so we have spent several years and billions of dollars on a war there now. Yet in North Korea, where we *know* there are nuclear weapons, our military is nowhere to be seen. It seems American government knew that there were no WMD, or else they would have taken a totally different, hands-off approach like they are doing with North Korea.

How Many Kids Did Cindy Sheehan's Kid Murder?
I have some serious questions about this Cindy Sheehan sitaution. If her son had not died, would she be silent, like she was before his death? So only HER son's death made any difference? How many kids and mothers, INNOCENT kids and mothers, did Cindy Sheehan's kid TERRORIZE? Did he kill others while she said NOTHING, then she raised her ruckus only once HER kid was hurt?

The Black Eyed Penis'
The Black Eyed Peas are a pop music group with a hit song out right now called "My Hump." The song, written by a black male, has a white woman with little clothing on, singing, "My hump, my hump, my lady lumps"...Well, my lady lumps are FISTS. The men in the group perform FULLY CLOTHED, asexually, as if hermetically sealed, in long sleeved shirts and long pants, while the woman with bare legs and bare mid-drift, writhes on the floor like their private prostitute and groupie...

“From a marketing point of view, you don’t introduce new products in August.”
ooOPs tubes, uranium,.. thesis..a FrauDian slip, move on greetings,
a lengthy labor of love, sharing a salient, timely,..'associative' Composition on the story of NOW...

"From a marketing point of view, you don't introduce new products in August."

It appears some Senate Republicans are suspiciously reluctant to investigate this 21st century war. They would relinquish any oversight role, -reviewing the commitment of money, resources and lives, to a foreign entanglement of highly dubious merit, justness, legality and beyond the detrmination of right and wrong, because we are talking about good/bad HERE..morality.

I believe seperation of powers, assign this OverSight function to the Senate, so they become duty-bound by their oath of office to proceed, to simply respect, carry out and honor the law. Besides are they not 'elected' public servants? and right now almost 2/3rds of America believe the country was misled, deceived, manipulated and spooked with a calculated slick PR campaign to embroil the US into death and destruction, a fiasco the public wants no part of. We say this government is not serving or rtespecting the People's wishes, demands and an about-face correction should begin to be set in motion !

SO,...let's investigate certain salient evidence and developements to see if the facts found and delineated below are sufficient to procceed....

*arguments, actions, 'positions' a result and concern for narrow self or factional interests? OR a responsibilty to act out of a need to be concerned for the broad National Interest, what is best for the 'whole' ?

Hundreds of Animals Seized from Slaughterhouse, Volunteers NEEDED
Animal Acres, a Los Angeles area farmed animal sanctuary, is providing emergency rescue care for hundreds of animals seized by humane officers from a California slaughterhouse. The animals were being warehoused in nightmarish conditions. Animal Acres rescuers who assisted humane officers described the grisly scene:

"We entered a dark cement building without windows. At least 50 sheep and goats were crammed into a tiny cement floored pen, covered with urine and feces. Dozens of chickens were thrown into filthy, dilapidated cages. The stench was so powerful, we became nauseous and our eyes watered. I couldn't believe that animals were surviving in there — and we found that most were barely surviving."

Dems are dishonest, irresponsible and reprehensible
Corporate airwaves, including NPR, have been saturated for two days now with soundbites of Republicans attacking the Democrats, who have finally come out in greater numbers against the Iraq war/occupation. I have to paraphrase, but this is pretty much what I have been hearing in the background for two days:

"It's intellectually dishonest for any Democrat to say that the American people were deceived about the war. Have they no shame?" says Senator Grassley of Iowa.

"It's irresponsible to say that I deliberately misled the American people." -- George W. Bush

"That the President misled the America people is one of the worst and most reprehensible lies ever aired in this city [Washington, D.C.]!" -- V.P. Dick Cheney

GAO Report CONFIRMS Stolen 2004 Presidential Election
The latest critical confirmation of key indicators that the election of 2004 was stolen comes in an extremely powerful, penetrating report from the Government Accountability Office that has gotten virtually no mainstream media coverage. The GAO findings are particularly damning when set in the context of an election run in Ohio by a Secretary of State simultaneously working as co-chair of the Bush-Cheney campaign. Far from what election theft skeptics have long asserted, the GAO findings confirm that the electronic network on which 800,000 Ohio votes were cast was vulnerable enough to allow a a tiny handful of operatives -- or less -- to turn the whole vote count using personal computers operating on relatively simple software.

Open Letter to George's Mama
Dear Barbara,

On April 04, 2004, your oldest child killed my oldest child, Casey Austin Sheehan.

Unlike your oldest child, my son was a marvelous person who joined the military to serve his country and to try and make the world a better place. Casey didn't want to go to Iraq, but he knew his duty. Your son went AWOL from a glamour unit. George couldn't even handle the Alabama Air National Guard. Casey joined the Army before your son became commander in chief. We all know that your son was thinking of invading Iraq as early as 1999. Casey was a dead man before George even became president and before he even joined the Army in May of 2000.

US-style democracy in Iraq – incendiary bombs and white phosphorous!
The truth eventually emerges. An old peasant saying "lies have short legs" is very apt to describe the latest revelations about the use of chemical weapons by the US army in Iraq. They not only used them, causing terrible deaths, but they also lied about using them. They obviously think that by denying it the problem would go away.

Shocking images have been reported by several sources. They confirm that white phosphorous bombs were used during the US Army attack on Fallujah, not, as they have tried to claim, to create a smokescreen behind which the US troops could move or to illuminate enemy positions. No, these bombs were aimed at people directly, burning many of them alive, including civilians, women and children. This highlights the real nature of the occupation of Iraq.

Memo exposes anti-democratic agenda of US Supreme Court nominee
A 1985 job application submitted by Samuel Alito, then seeking a promotion within the Reagan administration, demonstrates that President Bush's nominee to the Supreme Court is a life-long political reactionary committed to dismantling the social and legal gains achieved in the United States during the decades following World War II.

Alito's two-page description of his political development and legal views must serve as a stark warning to the American people on the breadth and depth of the next stage of the US ruling elite's attack on democratic rights.

Conyers: "An Anti-Civil Liberties Christmas Tree"
Congressman John Conyers today posted at his blog a discouraging report about how the House-Senate conference negotiations are going as to the final form of the Patriot Act. Remember? The Patriot Act was due to expire under a sunset provision -- so the Republicans, the Republicrats and the Administration have been working since Congress convened in January to prepare something to ram down our collective throat. As in -- "this won't hurt and it'll protect you from the dreaded bird flu thing."

Conyers says, "Obviously, I am asking my Democratic colleagues to oppose this bill.  I am also trying to make sure the media gets this right."

We can't do much about "the media" -- but we can try to get the word out on Indymedia, the blogosohere and the grapevine.

MAYBE we can influence the votes of our representatives and senators in Washington, D.C.? MAYBE you could e-mail Smith and Wyden? JUST MAYBE this thing can be stopped?
