Grand Jury Repression - Bay Area
Within the last 2-3 weeks, federal grand juries in San
Francisco have subpoenaed several former Black
activists and their supporters (focusing on 30 year
old cases) and ten eco & animal rights activists. This
recent wave of repression against the progressive
movement is part of a stepped up offensive that
includes renewed and escalating publicity to capture
Assata Shakur, refusal to extradite CIA operative Luis
Posada Carilles and refusal to release former Black
Panther Veronza Bowers (now a year past his mandatory
release date) from federal prison. These examples are
just part of the evidence of a continued and
escalating war on dissent and dissenters.

SENATOR Robert Bennett really Deep Throat, Wash Post attempts to disguise CIA/banker coup
If we count the Kennedy Assasination, the impeachment of Richard Nixon was the second coup d'etat by the central bankers in a dozen years.

Jim Hougan, co-author "Silent Coup: The Removal of a President "(1992) believes Felt was badgered into playing this role by family and friends. According to Houghton, Felt wrote a book about his career in the FBI. In it, he goes out of the way to say that he met Woodward on a single occasion. This was in Felt's FBI office, and the upshot of it was that Felt told Woodward that he would not cooperate with him in his pursuit of "Watergate." Houghton says no one in or around the Nixon White House was in a position to know all of the things that Throat is alleged to have told Woodward. For example, Felt had no way of knowing about the 18-and-a-half minute gap in Rosemary Woods' tape. This strongly suggests that Throat was a composite. "What we have here, then, is the sad spectacle of an old man being manipulated," says Houghton. "The only person who meets [the Deep Throat] criterion, to my knowledge, is Robert Bennett. Now one of the most powerful men in the U.S. Senate, Bennett was President of the Robert R. Mullen Company in 1972-3. This was the CIA front for which Howard Hunt worked." Houghton obtained a memo under the Freedom of Information Act in which Bennett admits he is briefing Bob Woodward. "Woodward's gratefulness was manifest in the way he kept the CIA, in general, and the Robert R. Mullen Company, in particular, out of his stories."

Opportunity knocks: Join the Army!
There's seldom been a greater opportunity for young men and women interested in military careers. If you're a U.S. citizen, you can take advantage of this remarkable opportunity. Even if you're a non-citizen, you can probably get in - with minimal ability to speak and understand English. Just a couple of years back you had to be a high-school graduate, but recently it has become clear that any document that purports to be a high-school diploma will suffice. Juvenile records are not a problem, and even adult criminal records can now be overlooked. If you look around, you can find a recruiting office that will be happy to assist you with such problems.

Even if you are facing a prison sentence right now, pending sentencing, you may be eligible for military service! Check it out:

"Allow Incarcerated Americans To Serve In Army For Sentence Forgiveness"  http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2005/06/318738.shtml

You may have heard that there's a high casualty rate in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. Sure, there's probably some truth in that, BUT every casualty is an OPENING for an upward-looking individual. Rank is everything in the military, so as people are removed for whatever reason, that means that there are openings farther up in your chain of command. Your sergeant dies today, you become sergeant tommorrow! Military advancement is almost impossible in peace time - so, think about it, the opportunities are increasing day by day in the Middle East.

You're probably wondering though, can you be assured of getting assigned to Iraq? The answer is almost certainly YES! The Army is looking for just someone like yourself - a motivated individual.
