A Christian EEU country prosecutes the curator of an art exhibition for displaying a painting that contains elements that were objected to by religious authorities. This sure recalls to mind some saying about a "goose" and a "gander", or something like that. And it isn't even a REAL crucifix that was "desecrated", but only one REPRESENTED in a PAINTING.
NOW will that idiot in the White House prosecute the scum who ordered the Holy Qur'an to be dumped in the toilet?
Of course not, inasmuch as this would mean that Bush himself would be the chief subject of prosecution.

We know we live in bizarre times, but this past week we've learned the Army is replacing Humvees with minivans, that Guantanamo prisoners were bought, not captured, and with all this, Bush wants us to "stay the course," whatever that is. ---------------
In Holland there was no planning error like in France. Votes are casted ONLY through software.
No more paper, no more theoretical limits to fraud, like in France where the illuminati did a planning error and thought that phase 1 (introduction of voting machines, covering only 25% of registered voters) would be enough.
The last official polls from the day before: "TNS predicted 59 per cent of Dutch will vote no, "
We are called to be subjects, to struggle for equal opportunities and the minimum essentials of life. Our gifts and talents, hidden, ignored or buried by the neoliberal steamroller can be rediscovered as we reclaim self-determination.

George Galloway made worldwide headlines on May 17th when he appeared in front of a Senate committee on investigations, after its members accused him of profiteering from Saddam Hussein's regime by receiving vouchers for oil, despite the fact that such allegations against Galloway had already been proven to be based on forged documents.

The French, fed up with ten percent unemployment, vote against a constitution for the European Union. In Europe, a revolt is brewing. Perhaps we could learn something.
In America's Forgotten Majority: Why the White Working Class Still Matters, Ruy Teixeira and Joel Rogers break down voting records by gender, race and class. They find that the bulk of the Republican resurgence from the 1980s to the 2000 election was due to non-union white working-class men abandoning the Democratic party, with over 20 percent of them switching from Democrats to non-voters or third party supporters or Republicans between 1960 to 2000.

It is such good news to all of us at NWPC that Dennis Kucinich is planning to come to Portland June 5-6 to promote the Department of Peace legislation! As you know, one of NWPC's primary commitments is to help bring the Department of Peace into being, and we have endorsed both the prior legislation and the upcoming legislation planned to be reintroduced in September. We're gearing up to help in any way we can.
Who is John Perkins and why has his story not been more widely told? Is he one of those prostitutes who commits great evils and then feels sorry at the end of his life after he has committed his crimes? I was astounded at the open admission of so many U.S. led overthrows of legitimate governments Tuesday night on Air America. I thought this was supposed to be a big secret.
If they believed in God's Word, then they would not elevate nations above God. They would have truth in themselves, they would know the Father, and they would not hide from the truth and allow themselves to be blinded and deceived by the instrument of the Enemy: the mainstream media. They would confess that ALL wars are absolutely EVIL. They would confess that the Kingdom of God is not of this world; and they would be humble, feed the poor, house the homeless, and share their wealth. They would make every life precious, so that every soul would have a chance to repent, accept Christ, and enjoy eternal life. No one would be discriminated against because they haven't made a choice. Everyone would be free to associate with the fellowship of their choice.

"I see now that looking out for the common good resulted in shortchanging the most important element in this formula -- me. Let Democrats continue promising the 'greatest good for the greatest number'. Republicans clearly have my number -- No. 1."

Fun, but I was disappointed that there were none of the words he has "created" such as "strategery." Oh well, have a splendiferous time with this.

"The I Word" / comment: This comes from the NYT, looks like the globalists have had their fill of the Bush junta, will this pave the way for nader, or will democrats try to steal this thunder? Regardless, getting rid of bush is high priority, hopefully we can dig ourselves out of this hole or at least slow down the neo-conservative fascist killing machine.

The "smoking gun," as some call it, surfaced on May 1 in the London Times. It is a highly classified document containing the minutes of a July 23, 2002, meeting at 10 Downing Street in which Sir Richard Dearlove, head of Britain's Secret Intelligence Service, reported to Prime Minister Tony Blair on talks he'd just held in Washington. His mission was to determine the Bush administration's intentions toward Iraq.

The popular technology website Slashdot has picked up an Indymedia article that has created quite a stir (100s of comments). Slashdot said:
"This is an interesting point made by a Clayton Hallmark on IndyMedia out of Argentina. He predicts that cheap Asian computing appliances with an Open Source Operating System on a chip will be the ultimate MS killer. References to the US$220 Mobilis out of India suggest the begining of newer, more powerful, and cheaper things to come. Mr. Hallmark also points to the success of the Wal-Mart cheap PC as proof the end is near for proprietory software. Overall an in interesting and thought provoking read."
