FREE energy AVAILABLE NOW-Peak OIL Ruse
The elites and their paid MOUTHPIECES want people to focus on "Peak oil" instead of the FREE energy that is available NOW. From this free and enlightened vista of thinking the world view of abundance and a lifestyle of peace, prosperity, and freedom, the dreary scientific and current religious/governmental/corporate/academic view of a world of scarcity. And, a lifestyle of of war and survival, financial ruin and the destruction of our personal freedoms and our environment.

Seymour Hersh: the last real journalist in America
Hersh, in a speech transcribed on Democracy Now, tells it like it really is, on the streets of Baghdad and in the halls of the Pentagon. This article is a must read if you want to understand the war in Iraq and the takeover of the American republic. That Hersh continues to publish in the mainstream is astonishing. He is the last real journalist operating in the mainstream press. I'd put him on a par with Robert Fisk and Greg Palast, but he has much deeper connections and I think an even greater effect.

Two reports expose social conditions in Oregon
As the Oregon Legislature convenes this month for its 73rd biennial assembly, two reports issued recently on social conditions in this state of 3.5 million represent an indictment of a political establishment that is clearly incapable of and unwilling to address the needs of poor and working-class citizens.

Bush's secret journalistic payroll keeps getting longer
Word that the Bush administration has been paying journalistic shills to pimp for its programs tells us something about the state of the media, but also about those programs: they don't stand up to genuine scrutiny and need paid propaganda to sell them to the public.

The Daily Poetry Movement
We are sitting in a circle. My knee touches your knee and your knee touches her knee and her knee touches his knee. Together we are joined. In the center of our village gathering a simple candle we created is burning. The smell of the first spring flowers scents the moonlit night chilled outside. You drink from the chalice and affirm your faith in our love, our village, our solar system. May we always know each other in peace. You pass the chalice to me and I to her. Around the circle we drink deeply. This is how we share our peace. Our village. Communalism!

ote in the first segment of the article that a highly placed US investigator states, "evidence linking these Israelis to 9/11 is classified. I cannot tell you about evidence that has been gathered. It's classified information." This statement suggests that such evidence must exist, since there would be no need for classification if nothing had been found.

Is Oregon ready to lead on industrial hemp?
The Oregon legislature has an opportunity to lead the nation by passing S.B. 294, a bill which would allow Oregon farmers to grow industrial hemp. The article argues that since the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has declared the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency ban on industrial hemp illegal, then Oregon legislators should pass S.B. 294 so Oregon is in compliance with Federal court findings. Jesse Jackon and Greg Palast on 2004 Voter Black-Out
The ballots left uncounted, and that will never be counted, is the dark little secret of U.S. democracy: Nationwide, about 2 million votes are cast and never counted, most spoiled because they cannot be read by the tallying machines. Given the millions of ballots spoiled and provisional ballots rejected, the unfolding mystery of the exit polls and widespread use of electronic voting machines, we will never know whether John Kerry or George W. Bush received the most votes in Ohio and other swing states.

Protecting the Food Supply in an Era of Pharmaceutical Crops
Jane Rissler, Deputy Director/Senior Scientist with the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) Food and Environment Program speaks about biopharming; the production of pharmaceuticals (or industrial enzymes/chemicals) within plants genetically-engineered for that specific purpose. UCS recently released A Growing Concern: Protecting the Food Supply in an Era of Pharmaceutical and Industrial Crops produced by an independent panel of experts to determine whether it is possible to produce pharmaceuticals in familiar food crops like corn or soybean (the two plants most often used for pharmaceutical production) without contaminating human food or animal feed. UCS has called on the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to immediately ban field production of corn, soybeans, and other food crops engineered to produce pharmaceutical and industrial chemicals.
