McCain Wants WMD Inquiry
In an interview with The Associated Press, McCain said he believes the public needs an assessment that won't be clouded by partisan division. The Arizona senator said he is seeking a full-scale look not only at apparently botched intelligence on Iraq's weapons capabilities, but also flawed estimations of Iraq, North Korea and Libya and the faulty assessments from other Western intelligence services.

Now Even Bu$h Admits WMD Doubts
George Bush finally conceded last night that there may be a problem over Iraq's missing weapons of mass destruction when he said he wanted to know why there were discrepancies between pre-war intelligence and the negligible material investigators had found on the ground.

He said he "wanted to know the facts" about any intelligence failures but he refused to endorse calls for an independent investigation.

Mr Bush's comments are likely to add pressure on Tony Blair to comment on why Iraq's banned weapons have not been found. In the run-up to the war he said Saddam Hussein's WMD posed a "real and present danger to this country".

Same Skeletons, Different Closet
On Oct. 9, 2002 John Kerry participated in "a long list of clear misleading, clear exaggerations," to put it mildly. In his speech on the floor of the Senate just before voting to authorize Bush to invade Iraq, Kerry said:

"Why is Saddam Hussein attempting to develop nuclear weapons when most nations don't even try? ... According to intelligence, Iraq has chemical and biological weapons ... Iraq is developing unmanned aerial vehicles capable of delivering chemical and biological warfare agents..."

Kerry became famous by asking senators "How do you ask a man to be the last man to die in Vietnam? How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?" Kerry is now himself a senator.

Mr. Kerry: How do you ask someone to die for your support of the invasion of Iraq? How do you ask someone to die for this mistake? More than a "mistake," how do you ask someone to die because you voted for an illegal , unconstitutional invasion? How do you ask Iraqis and Americans and others to die because you backed Bush?

Wounded in iraq: how many?
I have been wondering how many US troops have been injured in Iraq. I keep seeing the "casualty" (read: killed) count in newspapers, which offers a nice "small" (in comparison, sadly) number that isn't "too bad" for the public to see. But what is the real story? I have done a little searching.

Cluster Bombs: War Crimes of the Bush Administration
All over Iraq, unexploded cluster bombs, originally dropped by U.S. troops in populated areas, are still killing and maiming civilians, farm animals, wildlife-any living thing that touches them by accident.

Under Article 85 of the Geneva Conventions, it is a war crime to launch "an indiscriminate attack affecting the civilian population in the knowledge that such an attack will cause an excessive loss of life or injury to civilians." Under the Hague Conventions, Article 22 and 23, "The right of belligerents to adopt means of injuring the enemy is not unlimited," and "It is especially forbidden to kill treacherously individuals belonging to the hostile nation or army."

Edward Bond, is a peice de la resistance. I mean he tells it like it is without flinching, he attacks the pandering and lobbying of academie towards their masters and the paycheck that holds our knowledge enslaved to propaganda. It is sick to see how they have rewritten and rewritten our histories until it is unrecognizable. I will start soon on the history of our anarchist/socialist roots and how we got these famous distractions and mass slaughters of the poor in the twentieth century. Poor darlings, when will we say NO? I refuse! I resist! I recycle!

Following last month's capture of ousted Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, American commanders in Afghanistan have expressed new optimism they will eventually find bin Laden. Spokesman Lt. Col. Bryan Hilferty said the military now believed it could seize him within months.
