Last weekend, the International Socialist Organization (ISO) co-opted not only the Boston Campus Anti-War Conference, but the Anti-War Conference on the west coast as well.
Operation Garden Plot is the Army's code name for military plans to put down civil disturbances. It was most recently activated during the 1992 riots in Los Angeles, the 1999 WTO meetings in Seattle, the 2000 Philadelphia Republican National Convention, and the 2000 Democratic National Convention in L.A. Well over 100 concentration camps have been designated and are maintained for use under Operation Garden Plot. With the sweeping new police powers ushered in since 9-11, and the possible more to repeal or amend the Posse Comitatus act, the Federal Government is now taking aim at dissent at home rather than terrorism abroad.
"This announcement marks the first time a mainstream
grocery chain (in the United States, ed.) has dropped genetically engineered ingredients in response to consumer demand," said Heather Whitehead of the Greenpeace Genetic Engineering Campaign.
After months of pressure from activists, including Northwest Resistance Against Genetic Engineering, Trader Joe's has agreed to remove genetically engineered ingredients from Trader Joe's label products. Many stores in Europe did this years ago, including those owned by the owner of Trader Joe's. Thanks to everyone who made this campaign a success.
Extreme censorship of my articles on Chicago IMC and surrounding IMCs is similar to that on NYC IMC prior to the WTC disaster. Since the deteriorating condition of defective skyscrapers was used as an opportunity to eliminate people who they didn't like and to start a war to glorify Bush Daddy's illiterate kid, God knows what they plan now. A frequent theme in the war against terrorism has been the reference to the US and her allies as the "civilized world". Osama bin Laden has for the first time admitted his al Qaida group carried out the September 11 attacks. The Sunday Telegraph newspaper says it has obtained previously undisclosed video footage in which bin Laden makes his confession. In it he says that "history should be a witness that we are terrorists".
