John Trudell and an artist discuss the perpetual war mentality

Everybody is trying to find a way out from the mess they're in and they're using dark age intellectualizations and remaining confined in these concepts that have been imposed upon us from day one. Our spirits, the part of us that gifted us excellent medicine to deal with our lives here, has been systematically mined by a severely alienated perpetual war mentality. Join Trudell and i in a kind of conversation that you are invited to participate in.

What if we would have done nothing?
The waiter was arrested because the soldiers asked him if terrorists come there. Perhaps he should have said, "Yes, you are here before me." As it is, they arrested him. One becomes accustomed to this nowadays. No justification is needed to arrest anyone. They can be held in the most desolate conditions under what America now calls "administrative detention."

US boycott of products from countries against war?
After a long succession of nasty displomatic slips by US diplomats, there is now talk of a US boycott of products from countries that6 do not want to be part of the coalition of the willing. Too bad, for what the USA needs most is a uniquely German product: Vergangenheitsbewaltigung, a term often translated as coming to terms with the past.

First Iraq, Then the World!!! (insert maniacal laughter here)
It's a comical take on the Bush administration's chronic short-sightedness from its development of mini-nukes to it's play at global domination through militarism. I'm living in Portland, OR, I recently attained a master's degree in 20th century literature and theory. Since this renders me unemployable in the eyes of the masters, I work as contributing editor at street roots, the newspaper of the homeless, publish poetry and editorials, and perform my original singer/songwriter material to the screams of thousands of adoring fans. Some if these statements are outright lies.

Ari Fleischer Laughed Out of Press Corps. Meeting
Anyway, the South American journalist wanted to know whether the President was seeking to buy the vote of Mexico in the United Nation's Security Council's upcoming vote on war in Iraq by promising some "sort of immigration agreements like amnesty or [a] guest worker program."
"Think about the implications of what you're saying," Fleischer responds. "You're saying that the leaders of other nations are buyable."
Even for the laid back White House press corps, this was too much.
They break out in laughter. Ari walks out.

MOVEON'S ANTIWAR DAISY COMMERCIAL REGURGITATES AMERICA'S WAR LIES
The rehashed "'Daisy'" commerical being peddled by the Mainstream antiwar group MoveOn is an excellent of Alternative Media Censorship at work.
The "Peace is Patriotic" outfits like MoveOn, Win without War, and the Right wing website Antiwar.com are political Trojan Horses which seek to carefully divert and deflection attention from the fundamental reasons driving America's War Rampage and the event which triggered it all: 9-11.
