protest of HB 2010
protest of HB 2010 on june 27, 2001, aprox. 30 individuals from portland travled to salem to present the gov over 2000 signed postcards in prostest of HB 2010, the superfund cleanup bill. the group included OSPIRG, local concerned citizens, union people from the USWA. also had 2x3 blowups of the postcards that were signed by mayor katz, all the city council people, all the county commissioners.
they did an article in the trib today. the bill died in the senate.
