Economics is Onesided and Reactionary
The homo oeconomicus cannot be our hope and is not desirable or future-friendly. The economic benefits for the capitalist entrepreneur are in contradiction to nature and to the person.We face completely oversized financial markets today that have uncoupled from the real economy creating value. In 2010 the volume of financial transactions amounted to 75 times world production. An ever larger part of wealth is sucked up in the largely unproductive financial sector.

For a Different Economics
Economists are criticized everywhere for their onesidedness, their focus on markets and their inability to deal with the burning problems of our time... From the neoclassical assumptions "more is better" or markets on principle lead to an efficient distribution, a perspective on the world results that sets efficiency above justice and maximization of profits above environment.

Terrorism and the Evolution of Deception
There will always be a few people greedy enough to lie to others for personal gain; to some degree we live with this. For example, politicians', pundits' and their financiers' fear mongering goes hand in hand with attempts at war profiteering, population control, and the concentration of political power.

What we can't live with is large numbers of people lying to themselves because habitual self-deception is fatal.

It's common to see people blaming the government or the media for lying and taking advantage. That's not surprising because, in general, politicians are highly evolved lying machines and the media is rewarded for telling the majority what they want to hear in ways that promote business interests. But what is really needed to overcome that pattern is to examine how lies told by authoritative sources are accepted so easily, making it possible for some to exploit this weakness.

All people lie to themselves. We lie to justify our past actions, to promote ourselves relative to others, and to protect our self-image. The psychological biases and defense mechanisms behind these lies have been studied and are well documented.

Pilots In Northwest Reporting More 'Near Misses' With Drones
A data set provided by the Federal Aviation Administration detailed a number of close calls involving manned aircraft and small drones. The frequency of near misses has gone up significantly since this summer. Private pilots reported two near misses near Everett, Washington's Paine Field. In southern Idaho, a crop duster pilot reported a drone harassed him over a potato field. Oregon had seven reports of dangerous or irresponsible drone flying, many involving unmanned helicopters.

Most of the Oregon and Washington incidents happened at altitudes between 2,000 and 4,000 feet. That's well above the allowed 400 foot ceiling for hobby drone flying. The incident involving the crop duster in Idaho appears to be the only one where the drone operator was located and questioned by law enforcement.

The times we live in are so dangerous and so distorted in public perception that propaganda is no longer, as Edward Bernays called it, an "invisible government". It is the government. Pearl Harbor: Roosevelt's 9/11
False flags do not stand alone. They are better understood - and more credibly explained to skeptics - when seen in history's context.

Pearl Harbor begs comparison to 9/11:

Both events were carefully orchestrated false flags (although Pearl Harbor differed in that the attack itself was genuinely undertaken by a provoked foreign power);
Both involved massive death and violent destruction;
Both resulted in war and transformed American society;
Both were followed by official commissions that concealed the truth;
Both inspired "truthers" who were ridiculed by mainstream media because, "after all, our own government would never do that to us."

Pearl Harbor: A Successful War Lie
An excerpt from "War Is A Lie"  http://warisalie.org

One type of "defensive" war is one that follows a successful provocation of aggression from the desired enemy. This method was used to begin, and repeatedly to escalate, the Vietnam War, as recorded in the Pentagon Papers. Setting aside the question of whether the United States should have entered World War II, in either Europe or the Pacific or both, the fact is that our country was unlikely to enter unless attacked. In 1928 the U.S. Senate had voted 85 to 1 to ratify the Kellogg-Briand Pact, a treaty that bound — and still binds — our nation and many others never again to engage in war.

People become vegetarians for a wide range of reasons, not the least of which is in opposition to the idea that we have the right to kill and eat other sentient beings. (13 mins.)  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTIf-WJvqAA

I finally agree with Infowars on something (Lol).

USA police have a systemic monopoly on Violence.
black v white is a _divide-and-conquer_ tactic which is presently employed by establishment Left (with propogation help via USA corporate mass media) to entice _you_ to rally around Ferguson / Brown __*solely-exclusively within its race context*__.

Which prevents _all_ U.S. citizens from ORGANIZING (remember that word, PDX IMCers?) together around what everyone already knows-agrees is the _real_ overall problem, police militarization/violence.

------
Even after repeated pressure from CNN's Don Lemon to admit her father's death was due to racism, Erica Garner said she felt the issue was a microcosm of the larger problem of police brutality, which has come to affect virtually all walks of life equally.

Shoppers participating in the post-Thanksgiving consumerist phenomenon known as Black Friday typically tend to purchase useless material possessions they don't really need.

According to the FBI, last Friday saw a staggering 175,000 background checks processed via the agency's National Instant Criminal Background Check System, a number the agency says made Friday the second highest gun purchase day ever.

podcast interview: Ben Lawless on Blue Privilege (police)
(54:18)  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsyjfELQelw

[Transcript EXCERPT starting at ~ 23:50]:
"... Because, listen. They like crime rates. They like crime statistics. It gives them a bigger budget next year. And listen, there's another simple reason. These guys are cowards. That's who they hire.

[Interviewer, relating to incident just talked about: "They didn't even want to deal with the kid's father."]

Yeah. Or even just, in society in general. Listen, criminals are dangerous. They'll fight back; they have guns. You know - none of these idiots want to put themselves in that situation. That's not why they signed on in the first place. Again: the propaganda that 'every cop puts his life on the line' / 'in the line of duty' -- bullshit. They like to go after the citizens, because the citizens are docile, they do what they're told, they're not a threat to them, and they have money. Criminals are dangerous, they're a threat to them, and they never have any money, right? So they just end up costing the department money to go after them. Whereas, the civilians -- it's much easier to pull over some woman in a car, who didn't stop on the line, and give her a ticket, because she's got money to pay it, she's not gonna fight it, she's not gonna talk back, because --

[Interviewer: "And in the court cases, they'll say, in Virginia anyway you have to pay the court costs; and so you say 'Well, if I fight this I still have to pay the court costs and it's more than the ticket. So if I just pay it and I don't go to court then it's actually cheaper to be obedient. So that's like, you have a choice but you don't really have a choice."]

Capitalism and Its Crisis Proclivity
The liberal economists of the 19th century claimed no crises could occur in capitalism since every supply creates its demand. Capitalists want to minimize wages as much as possible.
