Although, they did not succeed in created a 3 mile long "living circle for peace" between the Hawthorne and Steel bridges -- there were lots of gaps -- these photos show that they had a very successful event around the Hawthorne Bridge. (And also on the Steel Bridge, and quite far down both banks). (article 1)
