IXXI - Lies, Scapegoats, & Conspiracies
Sooo, yet another obligatory anniversary of the IXXI incident is now upon us all, & I've noticed people are ever more hysterical lately. Freshly whipped up by a new calling of feverish nationalism & xenophobia. Then again, I hear it's an election year. I felt compelled to write in my own commentary about all... this. Now, I'm not about to claim that I know any more about this than anyone else. And I'm not going to leave a handful of links to any IXXI "truth" sites at the end of this, b/c I just feel that would be redundant. Feeling rather annoyed, I simply want to use this public forum to voice my own opinion.

9/11 Documentary; "Who Killed John O'Neill?"
This 9/11, people will be asking more questions about prior knowledge and possible complicity within the GW Bush regime with the 9/11 Saudi hijackers. One question is also the title of an informative documentary, "Who Killed John O'Neill?", detailing events from before 9/11 when FBI agent John O'Neill repeatedly warned of impending attacks. Yet despite all his important work he was demoted and eventually worked at the WTC building, where he died on 9/11/01.

Natural Gas Pipeline Safety is a Myth!
San Bruno, CA - Following another deadly natural gas pipeline rupture and explosion, it becomes clear that there are few safety standards and the promises of safety made by natural gas pipeline operator corporations like PG&E, El Paso and others are nothing less than blatant deceptions of the public trust. Federal regulators at PHMSA are beholden to corporate interests, NOT to public safety.

The Zapruder Film of 9/11
When the Zapruder Film (of JFK getting shot in Dallas) was released to the public, it changed the way Americans thought about the assassination. Kennedy was clearly shot from a different angle than what the official story said. The "official story" of 9/11 doesn't have much to say about Building 7. But there's ample footage suppressed by mainstream media showing it's free-fall collapse, despite never being hit by a plane.

Obama's Middle East Peace Talks: A Circus to Distract
What a joke. President Obama surely knows there is zero chance that his Middle East peace talks will succeed, even with the deck stacked in his favor. All of the main actors are on the U.S. payroll: Israel, Egypt, and Jordan get billions in foreign aide, while the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has proven a pliable puppet for the U.S. as he is disdained by his own people.

But even puppets have their limits. If the above governments were to support the type of peace treaty that Israel would agree to, their already oppressed people would revolt.

The point is a very simple one, while as citizens we constitutionally have the freedom of speech and expression, those freedoms don't extend to or accommodate license and reckless behavior. Thus viewed against the social, political and legal realities of American society, one could only classify the intended behavior of Preacher Jones as that which has now gone beyond the pale of protected behavior and into the realm of unmitigated recklessness. Behavior that can only increase the threat level for Americans both at home and abroad.
