The Papacy, Lisbon and the Irish Vote
The Papacy, Lisbon and The Irish Vote Today Saturday 28 June, 2008, in the centre of O'Connell Street , Dublin, there was great rejoicing coming from a shop that was obviously religious. The shop (broadcasting hymns and exhibiting chalk statutes etc.) exhibited a large poster in the front window to demonstrate that a Novena offered up by the Church to enlighten the people of Ireland to vote 'No' to the Lisbon Treaty had been answered. What has been most suspect in the recent Lisbon election is the hidden number of the Novena-faithful.

They claim that the design is "not right for the market at this time" which is of course utterly absurd.

Alternatives to Free Trade: Fair Trade and Beyond
The global debate around free-trade and its consequences has evolved tremendously in recent years, from tiny circles of leftist critics into a broad international protest movement. Although the movement began to bloom in response to the policies of the World Trade Organization (WTO), the biggest demonstrations have been in response to the now-popular "bi-lateral" free-trade agreements that economically powerful countries sign with poorer nations. Once one has become conscious of the problems created by free-trade agreements, whether they are international or regional, an immediate task presents itself: finding a feasible alternative.

Yes, the trade policy advocated by most big business politicians is "free-trade," and yes, this policy has had devastating consequences for working and poor people worldwide, while filling the already-full bank accounts of the rich. But the issue of "free-trade" alone isn't sufficient to fully explain the vast social problems that plague so many countries.

Wayne Madsen Report, posted by Styve 24.06.2008 23:50
6/24/08 -- UPDATE 1X. Iran war fever rising in Washington
publication date: Jun 24, 2008

Talk of war with Iran and unmistakable perception management campaigns to prepare for such a war are rising in Washington, DC.

Although it is being reported that the U.S. State Department may soon open an Interests Sections in Tehran, staffed by U.S. diplomatic personnel -- Iran maintains such a section at the Pakistani embassy in Washington -- the other Bush administration chain of command, the one operating out of Vice President Dick Cheney's office, appears intent on war with Iran.

John McCain's chief strategist, Charlie Black, told Fortune magazine that another terrorist attack on the United States prior to the November election would benefit the McCain campaign. He cited the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto as helping McCain in the New Hampshire primary. McCain, who is backed by the some of the same neocon elements that pushed the US into war with Iraq, denounced Black's comments but McCain also proffered the menace of another 9/11-type attack in stating: "Well, I would think that the absolute gravest threat is the struggle that we're in against radical Islamic extremism, which can affect, if they prevail, our very existence. Another successful attack on the United States of America could have devastating consequences."

My trial was outrageously fun. I smiled through most of it except at the end when the DVD's became out of hand and even confusing for me since I had made them on my own camera. I went to the law clerks office and saw the discovery materials. THese materials were arial and window shots of the Rose.

This whole thing could end up a felony as the judges assistant told me that he thought it was a felony. I guess one can not be a civil rights activist to show the level of missjustice in my case. I have lost track on how many mistakes were made in the trial that showed causes for appeal.

Iacuzzi verses the State or is it the State verses Iacuzzi. I can not remember. THe best kick ass laugh is that their are videos listed in the discovery. None. What........My camera was taken into custody.
