The Carbon Neutrality Myth of Centralized Renewables
Being the developer of a low profile, high efficiency wind turbine and generator it pains me to have to dispel the myth that centralized renewable energy such as wind and wave reduces carbon emissions. Power produced in one location then transmitted via high voltage lines many miles then stepped down to the lower voltage distribution lines before delivery to the end user is centralized generation. Centralized generation relies upon the vast interconnection of transmission and distribution lines that crisscross the country known simply as the grid and herein lies the problem.

The Downhill Plunge Speeds Up
The state has a social nature and cannot only be a power and security state. In crisis, we are all Keynesians. Taboo for a long time, the New Deal program slowly sounds promising again. The 1933 "Home Owners Loan Act" was created in the first 100 days of Roosevelt's presidency.

Keep the Republic
Benjamin Franklin's worst nightmare.

"Well, Doctor, what have we got — a Republic or a Monarchy?"

"A Republic, if you can keep it."

As Franklin, who uttered those words in answer to a citizen's query as he left the final session of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, saw with clarity, we don't have an easy form of government. Rather, it's a complex, unstable yoking of disparate forces, many with a blind urge to dominate. Only by keeping them in relative check do we maintain our relative freedom and, most importantly, our right to participate in our macro-destiny: that is, to have a say in, to help determine, the country's direction.

Ruling Against Mumia Shows: No Justice in the Capitalist Courts
On March 27, the U.S. appeals court in Philadelphia reaffirmed the frame-up conviction of Mumia Abu-Jamal, the former Black Panther Party spokesman and world-renowned radical journalist who has been locked up on Pennsylvania's death row for more than a quarter century. After previously rejecting Mumia's request to present evidence of his innocence, as well as a host of issues showing that he was railroaded by a racist court, the Court turned down Mumia's request for a new trial. It upheld the 2001 ruling by a federal district judge that ordered a new hearing on the sentence, but limited the "choice" to the living hell of life imprisonment without parole ... or execution. Mumia is innocent. He was declared guilty and sentenced to die because of his revolutionary politics and because for years he had been a thorn in the side of the racist rulers of the misnamed "city of brotherly love." Around the world, millions have come out in defense of Jamal. This latest ruling, like all those that preceded it, shows that the exploited and oppressed must have no faith in the racist injustice system. We call on the workers movement to mobilize its power to free Mumia now!

9/11 and the "black boxes" [...and Kroll, Giuliani, Kerik, Spitzer]
March 27, 2008 --

According to the 9/11 Commission Report, which is now known to have been an exercise in obfuscation and creative writing, the cockpit voice recorders and flight data recorders, or "black boxes" (in fact, they are bright orange) from American Airlines Flight 11 and United Flight 175 were never found in the rubble of the World Trade Center at Ground Zero in Manhattan.

That conclusion, according to knowledgeable sources involved in the debris recovery operations at the Fresh Kills land fill on Staten Island, is only partially correct. In fact, the sources claim that the black boxes were recovered from World Trade Center debris that was removed by barges from Manhattan to Fresh Kills.

France bans Monsanto GM-corn, Brazil allows GM-corn & peasants destroy greenhouse/fields
Asterisks (***) show how GM crops are a criminal mafia enterprise. When it comes to health, their local economy, and the health of their environment from the GM international corporate mafia, the Brazilian state lost its legitimate jurisdiction when it makes an unsustainable decision to be bribed by this GM mafia. Brazilian peasants knew it, taking back jurisdiction immediately:

[1] "On March 7th--International Women's Day--dozens of Brazilian women occupied a research site of the U.S.-based agricultural biotechnology giant Monsanto in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, destroying the greenhouse and experimental plots of genetically-modified (GM) corn. Participants, members of the international farmers' organization La Vía Campesina, stated in a note that the act was TO PROTEST the Brazilian government's decision in February to legalize Monsanto's GM Guardian® corn, which came JUST WEEKS AFTER the French government PROHIBITED THE CORN DUE TO ENVIRONMENT AND HUMAN HEALTH RISKS." [2] La Vía Campesina held passive protests in several Brazilian cities against Swiss corporation Syngenta for ongoing impunity for murder of Valmir Mota de Oliveira. Mota was was assassinated last October during these the third occupation of Syngenta's ILLEGAL EXPERIMENTAL SITE for GM soybeans. Brazil already has a high number of land activist murders, THOUGH Mota's was THE FIRST during an occupation organized by La Vía Campesina, and the first in Brazil ON THE PROPERTY OF A MULTINATIONAL AGRIBUSINESS" where corporate hired thugs went out and killed him. ---- More news on criminal activities of GM corporations in asterisks, summarized at close of article.

The Junk Yard The supposed financial guru, Alan Greenspan, was nominated to head the Federal Reserve, in 1987, by that union-bashing dunce, President Ronald Reagan. In his book: "Greenspan's Bubbles," William A. Fleckenstein proves Sen. Proxmire's instincts were prophetic.

SECOND AMERICAN REVOLUTION VICTORY GUIDE
What drove me to write this and you to read?

I wrote in "The Two Americas" that there are actually two Americas; the beast, the imperial machine that culturally, economically and militarily dominates Earth-and the America the beast and it's minions have been steadfastly trying to kill... even as they use OUR America as a disguise, a foil, to commit all the atrocities that have been attributed to the United States.

The United States government stems from the Constitution that was created in 1787. The Constitution was NOT the first governing document of the United States-that honor goes to the Article of Confederation. The first government of America was a Confederacy; each state having nearly all the attributes of independent nations save for a Congress, a President, and a Navy. Needless to say that government was very constricted.

Those that came up with our Constitution were known as Federalists; they were the wealthiest, most educated of early Americans, and being "elite" they did not like the Articles restricting their power.
