Natural Sunburn Remedies
...I later found out that vinegar is a home remedy for sunburn. People soak paper bags in vinegar and water, applying them onto burned skin to soothe it. There are many folk remedies for sunburn that work quite well. Cold yogurt is silky on tender skin and is nutritious too. Cold fizzy mineral water helps relieve the pain. The insides of cool cucumber skins rubbed on the skin feels good too. For severe burns, make a paste of slippery elm bark and water also helps.

Declare Yourself! Wear Orange!
IF You, can't bear to hear the phrases "WAR ON TERROR" or "9-11" invoked one more time to justify more unjust war, more lying, more spying and more torture, Declare yourself.
If you are someone that cannot get over bloated black bodies floating through New Orleans, Declare yourself.
If you are can no longer live a normal life knowing that people are being disappeared into secret torture chambers, Declare yourself.
If you are repulsed by the scapegoating, intolerance & bigotry being unleashed and propagated by the powerful to persecute the most vulnerable, Declare yourself.
If you cherish the ideal of men and women being equal & refuse to return to the days where a woman can be forced to have a baby she does not want,
Declare yourself.
If you believe in the separation of Church and State, Declare yourself.
If you are someone who is exhilarated by humanity's capacity to discover and understand the wonders of the natural universe, Declare yourself.
If you believe that truth matters, Declare yourself.
IF you have simply had enough of waiting for politicians to do right , or hoping that someone else would act first then...Declare yourself.
Your time has come to make a statement reverberating every place you go and with every person you meet.
Your time has come to be the symbol of a conscience that will not back down and will not go away.

The author of this article street performing at Portland Saturday Market 1983 I was street performing in Freeway Park in downtown Seattle yesterday and began to realize street performers harmonize with their surroundings, such as you would harmonize with a choir. A large part of street performing is creating this *comfort zone* for yourself amidst many competing sights and sound around you. Every busker knows that feeling when you are out of sync with your surroundings. You start over-amping...honing in on the surroundings becomes a talent.

The mainstream press is full of stories but for ONE BIG exception; a FAILURE the proportions of which promise to sear the pages of history. The criminal intervention and the consequent holocaust and humanitarian disaster that is Western Interventionist Iraq! The media is at pains to avoid this story for obvious reasons -- it participated in the original ruse and deception upon which a full-scale military invasion was launched. The list of war criminals includes the name of Rupert Murdoch as he clearly carries equal responsibility with Bush, Cheney, Blair, Howard and the conservative forces that support them. War crimes arrests must therefore extend to Murdoch and other responsible parties - Murdoch is damned by his own words, delivered in numerous speeches and addresses to fellow conservative criminals.
