Lot's coming up this weekeend for J20. Get ready for the big day! We're expecting Portland's actions and protest to be the biggest outside DC in the country.

This is a call to all you bike riders out there who want to participate in some anti-inaugeration activity but do not want to march in a parade. No location or time is set yet.

We are developing a vision for a protest, a peaceful protest, a loving protest, and a protest rich in resistance. We have a route, we are working on permits, for a march that will take us through the city and allow us to speak and witness those institutions which are most threatening to the good life that we would all like to live. We are looking for speakers, ones who can speak from the heart on issues they care about, at stops along the way.

After the 2000 presidenial election farce, black representatives in Congress sought vainly to find just one Democratic senator to join them in a call to challenge the Florida electoral vote. None would. This time, those representatives may find more support when they call for a challenge to Ohio's electoral college delegation.
There will be two DC Rallies on Thursday calling on Congress to Reject tainted Electoral college votes.

while many are gearing up to trek to the imperial capital on jan. 20 to protest the coranation events, bush,neocons the war the selection ect. many more will remain behind and let their voices be heard in their home towns
what are we doing locally to let our distaste for this regime be heard? what aid and support are we offering to our fellow comrades that will take the struggle to d.c.?
Covering 25 miles in 2 1/2 days, the Baltimore-D.C. march will begin outside Baltimore on January 4th at 10AM in Savage, Maryland (intersection of Route 32 and Route 1). The march will follow Route 1, ending at the Federal Capitol in Washington DC for the Rally in Defense of Democracy on January 6th.

The Motion filed by Green Party presidential candidate David Cobb last week, asking a Federal Court to preserve a wide range of evidence to ensure the integrity of the Ohio recount, was officially supported by the
Kerry-Edwards campaign today.
Attorneys for Green Party presidential candidate David Cobb will file a Notice of Appeal on Tuesday from a District Court decision which rejected Cobb's request to start the New Mexico recount without paying the entire cost of it in advance.
Take a minute to copy and paste two things into a blank email, then send it to print out in five Senate Offices. Take another minute to send this to everyone you know. Two minutes from each of us could equal a flood of faxes demanding the Senate fully investigate the election fraud.
Senator Wyden does not (so I've heard) accept e-mails. Here is a free number for contacting any senator or representative's D.C. office, to leave a voice mail or a message with an aide.
The next few weeks are going to be really important for outreach to make Portland's J20 day of action big. Please lend a hand! Plans for day of January 20th include rally and march, as well as direct actions around town. There is a lot coming up in the next few weeks including outreach blitzes, art parties and a direct action planning convergence.
