The Joint Base Lewis-McChord Anti-Terrorism Office (JBLMATO) Monitors This Location

Illegally gathering information about American citizens, maintaining unauthorized records, conducting illegal investigations, manufacturing false evidence, submitting false police reports and perjured testimony is an on-going problem at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.
The pictured notice has been repeatedly posted throughout the civilian community between June - October 2019. This is clearly an attempt to intimidate the community into silence and to harass anyone who dares question JBLMATO illegal activities.

Monitoring and surveillance of the civilian community by the JBLM Anti-Terrorism Office violates both Federal law and DOD regulations.

>>>>> "No information shall be acquired about a person or organization solely because of lawful advocacy of measures in opposition to Government policy. No computerized data banks shall be maintained relating to individuals or organizations not affiliated with the Department of Defense, unless authorized by the Secretary of Defense, or his designee." (DoD Directive 5200.27) <<<<<

We note that the JBLMATO is using a "gmail" e-mail address to facilitate this illegal surveillance of and reporting on the civilian community. The use of non-DOD services to bypass regulations and circumvent FOIA is nothing new for the anti-terrorism office (Protection Division). In the past the JBLM Protection Division, set up reporting channels using Facebook and Twitter in order to conceal unauthorized collection on non-affiliated civilians.

Furthermore, the photo of the JBLM evidence technician, in the posted notice, clearly indicates that the notice was created on JBLM.

Although the illegal activities of the JBLMATO (Protection Division) have been reported to the JBLM Police Department, Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) on multiple occasions in the past, no action has been taken by DES to stop this on-going criminal activity.
