Subject: Brake Light Clinic for your Community
Dear valued community partners,
Hello, from the Marilyn Buck Abolitionist Collective
< https://www.facebook.com/MBACPDX/> and JOIN: Connecting the street to a
home < https://joinpdx.org/>.
We are excited to announce the second
installment of our ongoing event, the Free Brake Light Clinic coming up
Saturday April 13th (info below).
This 3 hour event serves those that are at highest risk for police traffic
stops. Trained mechanics will be on site and installing free car brake
light replacements. Bike mechanics will also be there helping with basic
bicycle maintenance and to assist with bikes being "street legal." We will
have hot meals and snacks, all vegan, at no cost including pizza and more!

Portland Copwatch had this to say about this event:
We reported on the first "Free Brake Light Clinic" in People's PoliceReport #76:
Here's an announcement for the second one, coming up this Saturday at
JOIN. In addition to fixing car brake lights-- a great community-oriented
way to take away one excuse from police for pulling people over--
they're doing a bike repair clinic as well.
