Sandy Berger's Theft of Classified Documents: Unanswered Questions.
Staff Report. U.S. House of Representatives.
Federal prosecutor Mary Jo White was appointed to investigate the pardon of Marc Rich. She was later replaced by then-Republican James Comey, who found no illegality on Clinton's part.
Marc Rich (December 18, 1934 - June 26, 2013) was an international commodities trader, hedge fund manager, financier and businessman. He was best known for founding the commodities company Glencore and for being indicted in the United States on federal charges of tax evasion and illegally making oil deals with Iran during the Iran hostage crisis. He was in Switzerland at the time of the indictment and never returned to the United States. He received a controversial presidential pardon from U.S. President Bill Clinton on January 20, 2001, Clinton's last day in office.
the current Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, James Comey is a highly placed and paid corporate lawyer.
prior to his FBI directorship, among many other positions/roles he was U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York from January 2002 to December 2003, when he became the U.S. Deputy Attorney General. From 1996-2001, Comey served as Managing Assistant U.S. Attorney in charge of the Richmond Division of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. In 1996, Comey acted as deputy special counsel to the Senate Whitewater Committee.
As a corporate attorney James Comey accepted positions and financial compensation for working as a general counsel for Lockheed Martin.
In one year — 2010, the first year Lockheed would become a major Clinton Foundation donor — Comey was paid $6 million. That same year, Lockheed Martin won 17 private contracts from the State Department.
Guess who ran the State Department in 2010? Secretary Clinton.
After Lockheed, Comey join the senior management committee at Bridgewater Associates, a Connecticut based hedge fund firm.
Comey's brother, Peter, is employed as Senior Director of Real Estate Operations for the Americas at the global corporate law firm DLA Piper.
DLA Piper ranks number five on the Hillary Clinton's all-time 'top contributors' list; DLA Piper comes in right above Goldman Sachs.
Ironically or coincidentally James Comey also happens to own a mortgage on his brother's house as a Private Party lender.
