Mike Novack

One could have a firm belief in evolutionary biology in its scientific sense but not in its pseudo science sense.

Just like the "social Darwinists" aren't science, just using the jargon and turning the science upside down << in the terms of the science of evolution, it would be the POOR who are "most successful" --- aren't their numbers as a percentage of the population increasing and the numbers of the rich as a percentage of the population decreasing to the vanishing point? In evolutionary terms, the rich are going extinct >>

I believe that evolutionary biology applies to us humans just as it does to all living beings. But that does NOT mean I believe a comparatively small number of generations and modest selection pressure has resulted in the extent of differences claimed by people USING the concept to support their politics.

So clarify your claim. Is Peter claiming belief in evolutionary sbiology for humans in its UNscientific sense? <<I would expect most people in the environmental and animal movement accept evolutionary biology in its scientific sense >>

PS -- Do you understand? I am NOT supporting Peter. Just questioning what you are saying.

Obviously someones doesn't like this Peter guy and is trying to start trouble. Just as obviously they're pretty much all by their lonesome on this.

It's bad enough Indy is virtually dead but it's devolved into an unsourced gossip column too?

You can do better.
