RT (formerly named "Russia Today") Bill Gates on AI doomsday: 'I don't understand why we aren't concerned' January 29, 2015
Artificial intelligence poses a real threat to humankind, Bill Gates warns, and he "does not understand" those who are not concerned with this notion. But Microsoft's head of research, Eric Horvitz, says the fears are exaggerated.
Gates has joined the camp of experts like Stephen Hawking and Elon Musk who believe that further development of artificial intelligence could endanger our civilization.
As someone who has been at the cutting edge of technological progress for the last 40 years, Gates was asked on his Ask Me Anything thread on Reddit about "machine superintelligence" posing an "existential threat" to us all.

His answer was as follows:
"I am in the camp that is concerned about super intelligence. First the machines will do a lot of jobs for us and not be super intelligent. That should be positive if we manage it well. A few decades after that, though, the intelligence is strong enough to be a concern. I agree with Elon Musk and some others on this and don't understand why some people are not concerned."
OK bill. I say bring on our new Machine Overlords. Don't think Bill Gates and the Counsel on Foreign Relations, et al. aren't doing it for us. Sorry Bill.
Back at the Ranch (in Greece actually), the Grexit (Greek Exit from the E.U.) ("F**k the EU" Assistant Secretary of State for Europe Victoria Nuland) (careful what you wish for!) is moving apace:

With fire and brimstone spewing from Germany over the potential for Greece to veto any and everything, it seems Russia may just have stymied Europe's leverage over the newly democratic nation.

Recall that a German central banker warned of dire problems should the new government call the country's aid program into question, jeopardizing funding for the banks.
"That would have fatal consequences for Greece's financial system. Greek banks would then lose their access to central bank money," Bundesbank board member Joachim Nagel told Handelsblatt newspaper."
Unless of course Greece finds a new, alternative source of funding, one that has nothing to do with the establishmentarian IMF, whose "bailouts" are merely a smokescreen to implement pro-western policies and to allow the rapid liquidation of any "bailed out" society.
An alternative such as the BRIC Bank for example. Recall that the "BRICS Announce $100 Billion Reserve To Bypass Fed, Developed World Central Banks

It appears, in Russia, Greece has found another possible friend...
Siluanov: "if such a petition [for financial aid] is submitted to The Russian Government, we will definitely consider it"
Comment: "The Greek, Russian, and PRC Flags flew together today, as a new, super Port and Airbase was turned over to the SCO. The SCO now has a Dagger pointed at the underbelly of Europe..."
First we take Crimea... Then we take Athens!
This will draw Joe Sixpack's serious attention!
Also, fascist Ukraine is demanding $3 Billion (More) in U.S. "Financial Aid" today. Why don't they just give it to us\\\?
Mr. Sixpack will agree that this is the really crucial stuff to keep an eye on.
