On Sunday, August 17, at the Musicians' Union Hall, there will be a Solar Energy Celebration. This is a free public event featuring a raffe, children's activities, information and inspirtation. There will be music by David Rovics and Beyond Little Boxes. The event will take place from 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m.

A massive public jobs program to (1) develop alternatives to the fuels that are causing the buildup of carbon dioxide in our air; (2) develop the necessary energy conservation in our buildings and our transportation systems; and (3) build the infrastructure needed to ensure that as many people survive climate disruption as possible....
