YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULT SUMMIT ON TRANSIT JUSTICE

There will be a Youth Summit on Transit Justice on Saturday, May 17, from 11:00 a.m. till 4:30 p.m., at David Douglas High School. The event is open to youth and young adults (ages 13 - 21). It is free. Registration is required.

Multnomah Youth Commission is hosting our first ever Youth Summit on Transit Justice.

Our goals:
1. Provide young people with an understanding of what Youth Pass is and how it relates to Transit Justice.
2. Inform policy makers with young people's experience with transit and the importance of transit justice for the success of young people in Portland and Multnomah County and provide Trimet with recommendations to expand service east of 82nd Avenue.

Workshops, free lunch and raffle prizes!

Presented by Multnomah Youth Commission, in partnership with OPAL Environmental Justice and BRU (Bus Riders Unite!).
