"A true revolution of values will soon cause us to question the fairness and justice of many of our past and present policies. True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar; it is not haphazard and superficial. It comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring. A true revolution of values will soon look easily on the glaring contrast of poverty and wealth." - Martin Luther King Jr.

"A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death." - Martin Luther King Jr.

"I am convinced that if we are to get on the right side of the world revolution, we as a nation must undergo a radical revolution of values. We must rapidly begin the shift from a "thing-oriented" society to a "person-oriented" society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered." - Martin Luther King Jr.

"Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed." - Martin Luther King Jr.

"Our only hope today lies in our ability to recapture the revolutionary spirit and go out into a sometimes hostile world declaring eternal hostility to poverty, racism, and militarism." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

The following speech by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. - April 4th, 1967 - is more important and releVant now than ever before and should be read by all people far and wide, so as to prevent the 'cycle of history' from continually and relentlessly keep being made to 'play out' in some nightmarish man-made creation/reality that need not continually be repeated 'over and over again'. Another World Of Peace Is Possible. The 'truth in all areas of inquiry' will one day be reVealed and will set us all free. "I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality.... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality." - Martin Luther King Jr.

War = Racism

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." - Martin Luther King, Jr.
"No one who has any concern for the integrity and life of America today can ignore the present war. They must see Americans as strange liberators. We may have killed a MILLION of them. I cannot remain silent." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

"America, the richest and most powerful nation in the world, can well lead the way in this REVOLUTION OF VALUES. There is nothing, except a tragic death wish, to prevent us from reordering our priorities, so that the pursuit of peace will take precedence over the pursuit of war. Love is somehow the key that unlocks the door which leads to ultimate reality. We still have a choice today; nonviolent coexistence or violent co-annihilation." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

The People Are Important— " These are revolutionary times. All over the globe men are revolting against old systems of exploitation and oppression and out of the wombs of a frail world new systems of justice and equality are being born. The shirtless and barefoot people of the land are rising up as never before. "The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light." We in the West must support these revolutions." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." - Martin Luther King Jr.
"There comes a time when silence is betrayal." - Martin Luther King Jr.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." - Martin Luther King Jr.

We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history there is such a thing as being too late. Procrastination is still the thief of time. Life often leaves us standing bare, naked and dejected with a lost opportunity. The "tide in the affairs of men" does not remain at the flood; it ebbs. We may cry out desperately for time to pause in her passage, but time is deaf to every plea and rushes on. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residue of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words: "Too late." There is an invisible book of life that faithfully records our vigilance or our neglect. "The moving finger writes, and having writ moves on..." We still have a choice today; nonviolent coexistence or violent co-annihilation. - Martin Luther King Jr.

History repeats unless we never forget the endless lies, betrayals and hypocrisy of the past (and PRESENT) within the entire 'system' as it exists. The truth will set us ALL FREE. ***True Justice, True Equality, and True Liberation are EVERYTHING***. Peace comes later... (hopefully). It is up to all of us to help CREATE PEACE ON EARTH.

Human EQUALITY for ALL and more POWER towards the continued pursuit of Creating and Sustaining Dignity For ALL— it should be recognized as a fundamental basic human right for ALL— not a "privilege entitled to some but not to others".

No more lies, no more betrayal, no more hypocrisy— Love is our RESISTANCE. Heal the Earth through Truth and Justice.
