WANT TO GET INVOLVED? WANT TO CHANGE THINGS? LET'S USE WHAT IS ALREADY IN EXISTENCE

Every person that wakes up wants to start a new movement. Enough already. Let's stop wasting energy and come together and being organizing with those who have already started something. Let's use the many existing laws and treaties to regain control of our world. Did you know that war was already outlawed by treaty? That corruption was outlawed in the '40s and the laws are still on the books? No? Well, let's begin to use the tools that are there....along with the international and few honest US courts left.
What is your one demand? Through social media, this question sparked protests in New York City that spread across the country and then across the world. Well, we finally have an answer...

Our 1 demand is an end to the corruption in our federal government, restoring a representative democracy that serves the people of our country. This weekend (Saturday Nov 2), across the country and around the world, thousands of people are taking to the streets to March Against Corruption because they feel just like we do. Our government should belong to us - We the People - not the corrupt 1%.

The people marching against corruption near you this weekend are likely just as fed up with a federal government that is reckless, out of control, and divorced from the will of the people. We want you to join them, march with them, and then let them know about Wolf PAC's plan to actually fix the problem. Sign them up to join the fight while you're there too.

All Americans know that elections should be free of the corrupting influence of excessive spending by outside interests and fair enough that any citizen can run for public office, not just millionaires, lobbyists, and their allies. But that is not the law at is stands today, and not every American knows that we can cure the cancer of corruption with a Constitutional amendment. That's why we should march alongside the reformers taking it to the streets and then encourage them to join our cause.

This is a masterful account of how people in the United States and around the world worked to abolish war as a legitimate act of state policy and won in 1928, outlawing war with a treaty that is still on the books. Swanson's account of the successful work of those who came before us to insist that war be outlawed points us toward new ways of thinking about both war and political activism. Ralph Nader puts this on his list of 11 books everyone should read.
