Portland Fruit Tree Project is now accepting applications for our 2014 Fruit Tree Stewardship Intern.
The Fruit Tree Stewardship Intern will aid in the implementation of Portland Fruit Tree Project's Fruit Tree Stewardship programs by assisting in the coordination our Tree Care Teams program and Tree Care Workshop series, and helping us maintain our existing Community Orchard sites.

They are looking for an intern to help with coordination, volunteer outreach, training, and record keeping duties. You'd know that if you had actually clicked the link instead of vomiting a bunch of ill-informed garbage into the comments of the article.

In case you weren't aware, the Portland Fruit Tree project isn't exactly rolling in cash. Fruit maybe, but not cash. It isn't crazy that they are looking for interns, and it isn't very hard to realize that interns are looking for experience in the kind of things listed above, with this kind of organization.
