9.11 investigation | imperialism & war

9/11 Symposium this Saturday, July 13th at Sylvania Campus!! Sponsored by

Students at Portland Community College, Sylvania campus, started a club. This particular student club doesn't follow in the footsteps of most others. No pop culture / video game / fantasy land for this bunch of civic minded citizens!

The 9/11 Studies club provides a safe place for students to explore and share information on an event that happened over 12 years ago: the collapse of three (yes, three) buildings at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
It's heartening to know that not all of our younger generation believes what the established media and the government tell them without engaging their own critical thinking. And in this case, critical thinking as inspired critical action.

The 9/11 Studies club is sponsoring a Northwest Regional 9/11 extravaganza this Saturday, July 13th at 1:00 in the 400 seat Performing Arts Auditorium on the Sylvania campus. Complete details can be found on their website: www.pcc911studies.com .

Featured speakers will be Richard Gage, an architect who founded Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (www.AE911truth.org), and Ken Jenkins, video producer, psychology expert and peace advocate.

Mr. Gage's presentation of the available scientific and forensic evidence on the collapse of the Twin Towers and Building 7 is scientifically factual and logically compelling. Equally interesting is the glaring weakness of the "official story", the government's investigative report, when subjected to Gage's spotlight. Nearly 1900 architects and engineers have reviewed the evidence and joined Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth.

Mr. Jenkins will address the emotional barriers that prevent us from dealing effectively with traumatizing ideas, both individually and as a society. If we can't face an unpleasant truth, we can't discuss it and we certainly can't change it. Jenkins talk will address the ways compassion and empathy can enable us to move beyond denial, and toward unity.

Presentations will be followed by an audience question and answer period.

The destruction of three buildings of the World Trade Center and the deaths of 3000 people opened the way to disastrous and costly wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and far beyond, which have killed hundreds of thousands and impoverished millions. Our tax money has been siphoned away from social safety net programs for the vulnerable, homeless and hungry and into the insatiable mouth of the military and related industries. Our Bill of Rights and the US Constitution are in the shredder.

Since we are attacking multiple countries, sending our sons and daughters off kill and to die, cooperating with massive domestic surveillance; WE HAVE THE SOBER RESPONSIBILITY TO BE EDUCATED, AND CERTAIN, ABOUT THE REASONS. Now, we have the opportunity.

Kudos to the PCC students for giving us the opportunity to come together as a community and take a close look at what actually happened at the World Trade Center on 9/11/01. Let's not let them down!

Please join me there to listen, question and support each other in our quest for the accuracy and truth.
