Anarchy and a new math identity

A new math identity indicates that the universe may be based on just one math structure.
It is possible that this structure is essentially anarchistic.
Scientists believe that there is just one force in the universe The grand unified theory. But a new (or at least not well known one)
shows that there also may be just one underlying math structure.

It is an equation that relates the two famous mathematical constants pi and e.

The equation is: 2sin(e) - sin(2e) = pi/2.

As yet the equation is not proved. But a comprehensive proof will be difficult because pi ansd e are both irrational.

The square root of 2 is also irrational and this is due to the fact that 2 is prime. The exact proof is generalizable
to the roots of all other primes. This raises the possibility that irrationality is based on the well known
anarchistic nature of the sequence of the primes.

This latter fact is notoriously contagious as it means that all sequences and rules are inescapably anarchistic. In a recent
book Badiou has tried to argue for the natural ordering of the natural numbers, thus escaping this implication. But his argument, from set theory,
depends on the same thing being at the same time an element and a part of a set. But this seems impossible. As such his argument
cannot be used in an iterative manner to order the natural numbers. More to the point all bumber sequences presuppose the rule
thay are meant to demonstrate.

If the irrationality of pi and e is also based on some anarchistic process then this raises the possibility that the beauty
and wonder of the universe is just the expression of an underlying anarchy.

All rational rules and principles have the unfortunate consequence of imposing despair and suffering on the world and
its creatures. You will feel this despair if you revert to rationality to solve the worlds problems.

Please go back and study math before you try to talk about it.

a) Not BECAUSE 2 is prime. For example, 15, 21, 27, ....... are not primes but all have irrational square roots.

b) Yes of course the square roots of all prime numbers are irrational. That should be obvious directly from the definition of a prime number that it has no factors besides itself and one. Any number which has a rational square root must have two factors that are equal to each other (in other words, for any number which has a rational square root trivial to prove that this number is not a prime).

Wow Mike, a little aggro there. Nice way to make PDX Indymedia a welcoming place.

Calling out BS for what it is unfortunately needs to be done. All of this pseudo-academic crap that gets posted here is fluff and has nothing to do with activism of any kind. Math is math, and has nothing to do with social movements in any way. Trying to link the two together is comical at best, and plain annoying at worst.

Mike is wrong!! If he wants to call out bullshit, start doing to the trolls who are trying to disrupt the site.
