newswire article questions oregon & cascadia

election fraud | government

Attention Paul Cienfuegos Fans!

If anyone has heard or read him say/write anything regarding the issue of how pro-We-the-People legislation will be enacted via demonstrably hackable voting machines/ballot tabulator machines, please share what you can. Thanks.
If you have ever attended or seen one or more of Paul Cienfuegos presentations and/or read his writings, I just have a question that I haven't been able to get answered yet:

Has Paul ever addressed the issue of enacting pro-'We-the-People' legislation into law via ballot initiatives when the ballots must first pass through voting machines and/or ballot tabulators that have been proven to be so easily hackable and documented to have been involved in stolen elections across the country? If so, what did he say about it?

While I definitely support Paul's goals of putting We the People back in charge and ending corporate personhood, etc., attempting to do so trying to use an electoral system based on such machines—from the local to the national levels—is fraught with peril. That's because 'We the People' will never truly know whether any given election for any given measure or candidate has been hacked and stolen or not....
(BTW, even 'vote-by-mail' Oregon uses hackable, optical-scanner ballot tabulators (the ES&S M650 machine—see the DailyKos reference above). This ES&S M650 ballot-tabulating machine is used by both Multnomah County and the City of Portland, the latter because it uses Multnomah County's machines to count all the City of Portland's election ballots).

Credible third-party polling immediately prior to an election, as well as exit polling, could show whether a reported election result was an honest or bogus, but that's usually when the pro- and anti- percentages are relatively far apart.

Even so, if a stolen election is contested, and the city/county/state government is challenged on it, get this:
Oregon state law only requires that the same numbers that were originally reported *by the _machines_ (NOT the actual paper ballots)* are to be the only numbers to be used for conducting such a recount [see ORS Chap. 246.~ ("Administrations of Election Laws; Vote Recording", including 246.520), ORS Chap. 254.~ ("Conduct of Elections"), and ORS Chap. 258.~ ("Election Contests; Recounts")].
Well, as you might have already guessed, such a recount would not be very helpful... .

Anyway, multiple attempts for an answer to this have gone unanswered. For the past 1 ˝ months, the only reply received about his stance on this issue was (~three weeks ago):
"I do promise that I will get back to you about it... but I just don't know when...."

After all this time, it just seems odd, because:
(a) it's such a basic question
(b) one would think Paul would have at least some awareness of such machine-enabled stolen elections (see above links)
(c) his website ( www.paulcienfuegos.com/Contact/ ) says, "I would love to hear from you... Please contact me ... about ... absolutely anything ... you'd like to discuss with me."
Well, I did contact him, but--in terms of dialogue--so far it's been mostly one-way traffic...

The bottom line request here is just this:
If anyone reading this has heard or read him say/write anything regarding the issue of how pro-We-the-People legislation will be enacted via demonstrably hackable voting machines & ballot tabulating machines, please share what you can. Thanks.

The Silence Is Deafening 24.Jun.2013 08:43

~Curiouser & Curiouser~

The silence is deafening.

I guess no comments means that no one who has read this article who's heard/read Paul Cienfuegos has ever come across any reference by him to our hackable voting machines interfering with getting pro-'we-the-people' initiatives passed into law via the ballot box. In fact, he seems to actively avoid the issue entirely as much as humanly possible. Hmmm.... I'd go to one of his meetings and ask him point blank, but being (currently) out-of-Cascadia makes that virtually impossible.

Anyway, if you are reading this now and have a chance to ask him at one of those meetings, please do so and relay his response as a new post here. Regardless of what his answer is, it's bound to be very interesting...
