Animal Rights Conversations

A call for ideas to start the conversation--how do we begin to shift the balance of power?
A few questions:

From your experience as an animal rights activist what do you believe have been the most successful tactics used by the movement that have resulted in positive change?

If the overall objective of the animal rights movement is to liberate animals from human oppression and the best way to do this is to shift the balance of power from the oppressors to the oppressed (or in this case, the agents for the oppressed,) how do you see this happening in the area of vivisection?

One suggestion--Go to OHSU websites. Study all the tactics they use to hold onto their power. Do you see ideas for shifting the balance?

One thing I've noticed is their education program for K-12 students. They train high school science students to "mentor" 5th grade children. They have programs that indoctrinate our children into the world of vivisection. Do you believe this is the way things should be? How would you change it?

No haters or violence please. Only constructive ideas. Thanks.
