Is this where our attempts at social dialogue have brought us? Are we to be afraid whenever we choose to speak out for fear of "triggering" someone?
This is high school level drama at its worst, and this new language of "triggering" is just the latest attempt by desperate attention-seeking people to paint themselves as special little snowflakes in some way.
This kind of psycho-babble does nothing to further our goals, whether they be anti-capitalist, anti-fascist, anti-patrarchy, whatever. It just creates drama and distraction.
Here's a clue for the drama-inclined out there:
Whenever you talk to someone, or look at something, or read something, or go outside, or in any other way take your head out of your own ass and interact with the real world, you may see some stuff that will upset you.
Deal with it, the rest of us do.
