There are a number of events coming up (this Saturday and next Tuesday) associated with Iraq Ten Years Later for which support is appreciated. Mark your calendars!

Film Screening and Benefit: "Authority & Expectations"

Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
Film: 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., followed by q&a with veteran Wray Harris.
Admission: $3.00 suggested donation. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Benefit for Veterans Transition Corps (a local, Boots to Roots permaculture garden project for returning veterans) and Veterans for Peace, Chapter 72.

The all-volunteer US Troops are part of the problem of US Imperialism and aggression, not part of the solution.

Like the Ghosts of Abu Ghraib, I am not one to believe, "Honor the warrior, not the war," because if there were no warriors, there would probably be no war.

HOWEVER, keep in mind that the economy sucks and there is a poverty draft going on.
