OCCUPY PORTLAND ANTI-HOUSELESS OPPERESSION

"Cleaning up" Occupy office means NO BUMS ALLOWED and PAYING DONORS ONLY?
We, the Houseless Portland Citizens who Occupy this Rose City DENOUNCE Foop Inc (fake Occupy Portland) for its ANTI-HOUSELESS OPPERESSION POLICY.

We, also stand in SOLIDARITY with RIGHT 2 SURVIVE now on hunger strike against St. Francis Dining Hall for they're policy against HOUSELESS CITIZENS with life-controling addictions.

Foop Inc helps this St. Francis Catholic Church profit and money goes to pedophiles and anti-abortion cardinals who live in the palace in the Vatican.

We miss the days when all Occupiers houseless or not were welcome any time at the Occu office. Now anyone who appears houseless is interrogated and sumarily excluded for no reasons other than being a homless. They say they do this to help raise funds to buy a building.

"Cleaning up" Occupy office means that houseLess BUMS and Housed Bums worked side by side notknowing if any were PAYING DONORS.
We, the 1% of Houseless Portland Citizens who Occupy this Rose City DENOUNCE almost everything, including "Foop Inc (fake Occupy Portland)" because DENUNCIATIONS are whatwe care about more than any imagined ANTI-HOUSELESS OPPERESSION POLICY.

We, who staff or fund the Che & Manning room, also stand in SOLIDARITY with RIGHT 2 SURVIVE now on hunger strike against St. Francis Dining Hall for THEIR policy against HOUSELESS CITIZENS with life-controlLing addictions... to the extent that FoOP, Ibrahim, St. Francis staff and all Occupiers believer that the Meth using and Meth dealing 1% sometimes drag down people loving them and/or codependent with them.

Foop Inc helps this St. Francis Catholic Church lose money feeding & showering the houseless guests who chose to cooperate with policies opposed by some pedophiles and anti-abortion cardinals who live in the palace in the Vatican.

We miss the days when all Occupiers houseless or not were welcome any time at the Occu office if they could respectfully manage the personal property some travel with. Now anyone who appears houseless or not and leaves property or food waste is interrogated and sumarily, summarily even excluded for no more than 1 full day plus parts of a 2nd day, but longer for reasons other than being a homless, such as spraying people with pepper spray or breaking windows in middle of night or early morning. They say they do this to encourage respect of all regardless of status, gender or politics, not to "help raise funds to buy a building" or rent a less expensive place not entangled with this on parish that is more run by women than any other.

The company Friends of Occupy Portland (what you falsely call "fake") was duly established under the authority of the "real" Occupy Portland G.A., unlike your fake "G.A." the other day. People contribute their own money to keep FOOP running (which means it pays bills to benefit the greater "OCCU" -- Occupy-Created Communities in Unity -- community, the evolution of the ever-growing mass popular movement for social and economic justice).

The OCCU communities do have important works to do, look at the Solutions Committee, for example, working diligently to monitor and lobby the state legislature and city councils.

The conflict between the OCCU community members and the members of the homeless community became an issue only because the latter decided to misappropriate our community asset for their own benefits without contributing anything back in return. It was not because one or two homeless loiters and takes a nap every once in a while. It was rather that a large group of homeless youth and chronic homeless, with mental illness, many of them not affiliated with Occupy Portland in any form, found that our meeting/work space is where they can do anything without being under typical scrutiny and supervision they would normally get in a facility specifically designed for the homeless. Occupy Portland was not prepared to handle the jobs that are ordinarily handled by trained social workers and police officers. In the meanwhile, the filth they left behind (garbage, food scraps, oversized backpacks, soiled bedrolls, etc.) created health hazard and rodent infestation, blocked the great portion of the floor space, and drove away organizers of meetings and events. Many of these street people also routinely distracted and interfered with meetings. Much of FOOP's revenue comes from donations collected at events and meetings, and the reduced capacity for this began hurting its bottom-lines.

The "clean-up" mentioned by the author of the post is in reference to the recent clean-up day, which was done in preparation for the projected relocation, not because of the "homeless problem."

The recent vandalism on one of the windows is going to cost FOOP $600, which will be taken out of the security deposit. If you are in solidarity with this individual who might have done it (we know who is suspect, and the building owner has filed a police report already) please also take responsibility for their highly misdirected "diversity of tactics."

If you want more from *your* OCCU space, please be part of the solution instead of being part of the problem. Contribute money at  https://www.wepay.com/donations/occupy-portland-meeting_office-space-fund or mail it to Friends Of Occupy Portland, PO BOX 2443, PORTLAND OR 97208-2443. As of this writing we need $675 by next week.

If you are not an active participant but rather a spectator, don't be a backseat driver. It is rude and tacky, and insulting to all the people who are actually doing the work and/or contributing money.
