Portland ABC meets at Red & Black on Tuesday, October 30. Open meeting @ 6pm (roughly,)all welcome. Write to a person in jail at 7pm - all materials, instruction and prisoners provided. In addition to signing cards for prisoners, we are also going to sign a card for a long-time friend of Portland Indymedia and Books to Prisoners. She was in a horrible wreck and is hospitalized flat in bed with severe injuries. Come sign the card for her - it will cheer her up. The Red and Black Cafe is a worker-owned cooperative vegan restaurant and community space 400 SE 12th, (12th & Oak St.) Portland.
