Do you love outdoor photography & want to help a great nonprofit? Portland Fruit Tree Project (PFTP) is seeking volunteers to shoot some good quality photographs this harvest season. We are seeking photographers interested in documenting community fruit harvesting events, community orchard work-parties at beautiful outdoor locations, and other indoor and outdoor program events throughout the city of Portland.
The photos will be used in presentations, outreach materials, and to promote the work we do to the Portland community and beyond.
Time commitments are flexible based on your availability & interests. There are numerous events taking place in August & September all over Portland. We are happy to work with you to find out what events will be the best fit.
This exciting volunteer opportunity could be a great opportunity for a new photographer to gain hands-on experience and build your portfolio. We only ask that you give the photos to the Portland Fruit Tree Project for our use after each photo session. Photographers can use the photos they take for their own portfolios & other non-commercial purposes.
If you are interested in this fun opportunity, email firstname.lastname@example.org
About Portland Fruit Tree Project:
Portland Fruit Tree Project is an award-winning non-profit organization that provides a community-based solution to a critical and growing need: access to healthy food. By empowering neighbors to share in the harvest and care of urban fruit trees, PFTP is preventing waste, building community knowledge and resources, and creating sustainable, cost-free ways to obtain healthy, locally-grown food. Because money doesn't grow on trees... but fruit does! More info at www.portlandfruit.org
