This early experiment by filmmaker/poet Hemmam Fall is a hypnotic look at early musical and cultural phenomena in one of the world's least populated places, the West African nation of Mauritania which lies sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the desert. There will also be an accompanying exploration of contemporary Mauritanian music culture through the lens of youtube by Chris Kirkley.
