A lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Massachusetts today alleging that the free speech rights of animal activists have been violated by the enforcement of the AETA. The activists claim in their suit that fear of prosecution as terrorists has limited or caused them to cease their lawful advocacy for animals.
