Society wishes us to see ourselves as powerless contained and static identities. This is an extremely inaccurate scientific view unless you happen to have a very powerful ego (Some people do, but this is just to inspire those that don't realize their potential).
In one hour the heart works hard enough to produce enough energy to raise almost one ton of weight three feet off the ground.
The person you see in the mirror is entirely made up of completely different newly-born cells than the person you saw a month ago. And we really are moving too slow for our own body: 70% of the dust in your home consists of shed human skin.
Our hearts really can encompass the entire planet: the total length of your circulatory system stretches 60,000 miles. That is more than twice the distance around the Earth.
The human body puts out about 60,000 times more energy than the sun per volume.
(Of course this is because the sun's heat is in the core, not the general mass)
Where does all this energy go? That is your choice.
