Video: Retire the Horses - Individuals For Justice and The Lone Vet report

A video of Joe Walsh asking the mayor to retire the police horses. As we see the horses being used as a tool at protest, the Lone Vet speaks up and says "Enough!" Around 1:48 into the video clip is when the police horse topic starts. This was filmed at the protest vigil thst happens every Friday afternoon on the Hawthorne bridge ramp on the west side.
(Video clip 9.27. minutes long)

This video opens on The Hawthorne bridge at 4:30 in the afternoon, with Barbara in the background encouraging a Jobs program with information and her sign her, standing with The Lone Vet and his flag and signs. They both speak from their hearts in the freezing cold on the west end of the Hawthorne Bridge on Friday 12/9/11 for anti war policies based on peace and social economic justice and change for the 99%.

This is at the weekly "Stop the F-ing Wars" protest that the www.individualsforjustice.com organize at 4:00 PM to 5:30 every Friday in Portland Oregon.

In this video clip it opens with The Lone Vet, who talks about the West Coast Port Blockade on Monday 12/12/11.

He then discusses his factual opinion on the abuse of the police horses at protests and the need to retire them. The concept of using an animal to preform violently and in violent circumstances and environments is wrong.
The Lone vet challenges the mayor to "retire the horses" in the video clip.

Not only are the horses being put in harms way in these protest environments so is the officers and the citizens. In my opinion using the horses as a tool only enrages the protest and causes almost riotous conditions.
